These are great shoes. They're durable and great looking, and my boys (age 2 and 4) can put them on by themselves (well, the 2 year old almost can, anyway). Love the velcro and the reinforced toes!

My boys are wearing these for a few weeks now and I'm very happy. They are sturdy -real good quality. They run true to size. They are adorable and funky and I get loads of compliments. I put them in the washing machine and they come out looking like new too!

We bought these shoes for their vulcanized rubber. They are really durable. My son was going through a pair of shoes every 3-4 weeks. He's been wearing these shoes for a month with no wear to the toe area!

These shoes are my favorites of my daughter's. The chartreuse color is so fun. They are easy on and off and they are holding up great. They make me smile, they are so fun!

I was happy to finally find a shoe for my 5 year old that doesn't make him an advertising shill for Disney. I love the old school look of this shoe combined with arch support and a sturdy toe cap that isn't offered by Converse. The price is a shock but having been on the receiving end of hand-me-down Keens from an older cousin I know they last. This shoe is a little more narrow than the two strap Keen Sula Leather which I purchased for my son's twin Flintstone-footed brother. The positive of the 2 straps of elastic verses the second velcro strap-it holds to a more narrow foot. The negative of this design decision is that the "tongue" gets smushed down towards the toe when a foot gets jammed into it. Because of the strap across the top it can be tricky to hold onto the tiny bit of tongue exposed to keep it from slipping. This also makes it hard for the child to put the shoes on him or herself without the discomfort of mushed up material in the toe box. I am thinking of tacking the tongue to the elastic to alleviate the issue. Other than that my son and I are both very happy with the shoe.
