These shoes are great! My 7 year old son is very hard on shoes, but these are built so well they can handle all his wear and tear. Definitely worth paying a little more because they last!

I love Keens for my boys. They are very active (6 and 9). I have tried the knock-off's and they only last a month before there are holes in the soles. Keens are comfortable for my boys and they last. They are worth every penny. Love them.

This is a well made, comfortable all around shoe. We've come back to it for several sizes. However, the pull elastic is way too long and has broken on the last pair before my son grew out of it (then the length came in handy so I could fix it).

The Kids Alamosa is another great style from Keen. I find that Keen shoes outlast most other brands for my son, so they end up being a great value. My son's feet are a bit wide and he has a high instep, but these fit him perfectly. These are great all-around outdoor/school/play shoes and he can even get away with wearing them to church with a pair of khakis.
