A great all around shoe that kids just can't destroy! We are an outdoor family and love to hike and bike in the summer and these shoes are comfy and breathable. Forget those white tennis shoes, these are the ticket!

These shoes are for my almost eight year old son. He is tough on his shoes - playing every sport imaginable in them. And these Keens have held up to each and everyone of his demands. He pulls them on in a flash, and off he goes! They are lightweight and snappy looking too! The best is the no united shoe laces!
Brands I'd also recommend: merrell - ecco.

I bought these for my daughter who has a wide foot. Although these are not marked as wide, they fit her well so they are a good option if your child has a wide, hard-to-fit foot. She does not like anything girly and so she loves these. They are very versatile. We are both very happy with them.

The back end of these shoes is much higher than its predecessor and my daughter complains that it cuts into her Achilles tendon. This makes them unusable for her and thus one star.

Love these shoes. Both my boys ages 9 and 7 have these in different colors. I love that they don't have the typical big cumbersome looking toe and sole like other Keens! Past Keens I have gotten my boys also have a wider foot bed - the Alamosa did not, which is perfect for my boys' feet. They have held up great so far! Great shoe for my very active boys!

I ordered a pair for my 10 year old daughter and she loved them immediately and she is very picky with shoes. The toggle elastic laces make it very easy on and off. I wear an 8.5 with keens in women's and I ordered a 6 for myself and they fit perfectly. Wanted a light weight, flexible easy on and off walking shoe for an upcoming vacation. I could not be more pleased. We ordered the gargoyle/daphne.
