This is the second pair of Keen brand shoes I have our purchased for my son. They are fantastic! They get muddy and wet but his feet stay dry. I rinse them under the faucet and they still look brand new. They are a little hard to get on at first, but once they stretch out, even my 2 year old can put them on. Very good shoe for the money.
Brands I'd also recommend: New Balance, Nike, Crocs

This is our 4th pair of Keen's fall rain/mud shoe, as we are growing. However, a bit harder, particularly in the back, slightly less flexible and seemingly difficult to break. My daughter says her feet got tired quickly and a bit sore in the back with them. So, we are not sure that this would be our favorite pair in spite of loving Keen brand.
Brands I'd also recommend: Merrell, Stride Rite, Teva

These are very cute, and very sturdy. I love Keens. But these are hard to get on. I wish they still came with the velcro strap across the top like the ones for younger toddlers.

My daughter has never had issues fitting into shoes, but these were the hardest shoes to get on her little feet. They actually left marks on the tops of her feet the first (and only) time she wore them. Although I love the look and I have owned many Keen shoes myself, I highly advise against buying these shoes for a toddler.
