Great light hiking shoe! My third pair of Keens - love them! My favorite color combo yet! I always order half a size larger than regular shoes (i.e. I order Keens in the same size I wear in a running shoe) and they always fit perfectly. These are hands-down the most comfortable shoes for hiking, walking, whatever. I add a Dr. Scholl's double cushion insole and it is like walking on a cloud. I can wear a thick hiking sock with them, but prefer a lightweight gold toe sport sock instead. I wouldn't think of ordering from anywhere but Zappos.

I spend a lot of time on my feet and need comfortable, sturdy shoes. I'm a film graduate student and make films as well as teach classes which means long days on my feet. I also want my shoes to be stylish. A friend recommended Keen, which I had never tried before. This is now my favorite pair of shoes. I also live in Utah and want shoes that can hold up to the cold weather, snow and ice and these do the trick. The toe doesn't narrow as much as most shoes. As I get older, the narrow type shoes become increasingly uncomfortable. We just finished filming long hours all weekend, and my new Keen shoes got me through it just fine! I like shoes with a little extra toe room, and medium width, and these are perfect. These black Keens with purple highlights are great! I give these 5 stars overall. Very comfy, sturdy, warm, attractive fun shoes!

My wife loves the style but said the heel is to high and causes her to tip forward when walking. Too bad. We would have keep them.

Great color combination. Sturdy and solid shoe. Order a half size more (example: I ordered 8 1/2 and need a 9). All around great shoe!

These feel true to size and have adequate padding and good support. Although the upper and the sole is quite stiff at first, the shoes were fairly comfortable out of the box and everything loosened up with a few days of wear. Keen and Zappos...great as always.

I normally take an 8.5, I ordered a 9 based on another review and it fit perfectly. I love these shoes.... durable, comfortable. I haven't tested the waterproof part yet, but my experience of Keen is that they will be!

I love these shoes, so comfortable. I ordered a 7.5 but they were a little bit too small. Zappos with their awesome customer service sent me both and 8 and 8.5 to see which one worked out the best. I kept the 8 and they are fabulous. Thank you Zappos, you are wonderful.

I have been using my Keen Targhees (or similar) since 2007 and thought it was time for a new pair. These have the same wide toebox, but come up a bit higher on the heel/ankle and rub uncomfortably on the bone. Just like everyone says, they are half a size small. I wear a 7½ and ordered an 8; the length fit great.

Fit great like most Keen shoes--very consistent. Hard to lace it tightly but good room to fit hiking socks. Worked great.

This is my third pair of Keen's waterproof shoes. Had them for a couple of weeks now. Overall comfortable and great for trekking through the woods or city streets during these fickle spring days of the Midwest. The only complaint I have is that the shoes are a bit stiff compared to my previous experiences with Keen. It might just take more time to break in. I'm most happy with the style which, in my opinion, has not been Keen's strength. I got the color grape.

I have flat feet and at work I stand for up to 8 hours a day on concrete floors. These shoes are the best. They have a slight arch, but it's very comfortable even for my flat feet. My feet used to throb and cramp before I got these shoes, but now my feet don't even hurt anymore. Also, I have noticed that my calf muscles are being worked and they feel really good. These shoes are versatile...I can wear them every day in any weather and can also go walking or hiking in them. A+ for these shoes.

Very, very hard/stiff soled. Not comfortable, no cushioning. By the end of the 1st day my feet were killing me and tired.I am a courier and dont mind spending more for a good, cushioned , supportive pair of shoes. So I bought a pair of the gell inserts. Better but still not what I expected for $130. If I had not have worn them out I would be asking for a refund. Nothing like several of my freind's raves about Keens. I think this stylle missed it in the comfort end.

Great stable shoes for serious hiking. If you're looking for something for more general purpose use, try one of Keen's other styles. I bought these for backpacking because I can't stand how a true hiking boot feels on my ankles, but still wanted good support. So far so good!

I am a huge fan of Keens. I needed a replacement for my Targee I hiking shoes, which are no longer manufactured. I tried all of the waterproof Keen hiking shoes, including the Targee II. I also tried waterproof hiking shoes from Vasque, Merrell and North Face. While I wasn't thrilled with any of the choices in terms of comfort, I found the Gypsum to be the most similar in fit and comfort to my previous pair. As I said, I am a huge fan of Keen, but I'm lukewarm on these.

I love the colors of these hiking shoes. They fit well, and are very sturdy. I took out the liner and put in my orthotic so they now provide excellent arch support.
