- Waterproof nubuck leather uppers offer ample durability, flexibility and breathability for lasting comfort on and off the trail.
- KEEN.DRY™ waterproof breathable membranes keep feet dry while allowing perspiration to dissipate before it saturates the inside of the shoe.
- Patented rubber Toe Guards protect feet and uppers from impacts and abrasion.
- Removable Metatomical EVA footbeds are shaped to provide ample cushioning and arch support. The Gypsum can also accommodate orthotics.
- Compression-molded EVA midsoles offer shock-absorption and padding for all-day comfort.
- External thermoplastic urethane heel stabilizers support feet on impact, dissipate shock and reduce the chance of twisting an ankle.
- Supportive ESS thermoplastic urethane plates provide torsional stability and protection from uneven and rocky terrain.
- Non-marking rubber outsoles with aggressive 4mm multi-directional lugs to deliver durability and traction.

Good overall shoe. Very comfy and great fit. However, as usually, this is my third pair of keens that have the heels wearing out, I have had these about a month and can see the wear already.

I am not pleased with these boots. They are a tall mid calf (which I do not like) and the hook at the top of the laces does not lock the laces in place. I used to buy the Targhee hiker and it was great. These do not feel like they have the support I am used to.

Enjoy the feel and look of the shoe. My wife and daughter agree. However, they run short - toe rubs the end. I wear a 12 and fear a 13 would be too big. Going to return and try another brand.

I am returning these nice shoes for a size 11 1/2. And a different color Gargoyle Yellow. I cannot wait to receive the exchanged pair of shoes. Go Zappos you're awesome!

Great hiking shoe! I took it out for a long tough hike first time out and it was so comfortable. I even had to walk through a river completely submerged and feet stayed dry! They got cold from the water but dry! I would buy again.
