No terrain is too rough for these hiking shoes. Loved them for hiking and they needed no breaking in. My husband was so impressed he ordered a pair for himself. If you like yours to have flexible soles, these are not for you.

Love these boots because they are so comfortable. Almost like walking in running shoes. One item for consideration: since they are waterproof they can be hot in warm temperatures. I also have the low-cut version.

These run small. They are the most comfortable boots ever.. If I had a quarter of an inch more room in the toe. And as a note: do not get these wet. They shrink. If you get them wet, leave them on your feet until they dry.

As Keen's website states, these do run half a size small. The 7 is a 39½ EU, and a men's 7 US should be a 40 EU. They are also a bit narrower than other Keen Men's boots (my bare foot is a little over 3½" wide). My toes can still spread out but not as much as in the Incline Mid or Summit Country II. That said, I find that once I replaced the insole with one from Vivobarefoot, these boots have a very small drop between heel and toe. They are a good alternative to my Vivobarefoot Off Road Hi when I need more grip, such as on snowy, icy pavement.

The Keen Bryce Mid WP is an interesting shoe. It is relatively light weight, offers a waterproof membrane, and is nicely cushioned but supportive. Additionally, it appeared like the picture without any visual surprises. But unlike other Keens I've owned or tried on they run very narrow in the forefoot and arch. Like the other Keens the heel is very generous. It was a strange fit for my duck foot. If you have a wide heel, narrow arch and narrow forefoot try these out. If you want a more traditional Keen fit this isn't for you.
