The Keen Bidwell is more than meets the eye. A look at the catalog and the brief somewhat lackluster video combined a nebulous reviewer is a bit discouraging, but there is usually something good lurking subtly in each Keen design. What aroused my curiosity about the Bidwell was its inclusion in the Eddie Bauer spring shoe line. Sorry Zappos, but most of my clothes comes from EB, and their new modernized merchandising schemes leave little room for error, and the Bidwell is not one of them. The Bidwell wraps the foot, but doesn't crowd you, the goring is firm but not tight, and the shoe has a roomy feel with good volume for wider feet like mine. The sole and cushioning is plush but firm, not mushy, and with excellent traction on most surfaces from dirt to the smooth hard surfaces in urban areas. The bid has the go-with-anything looks from jeans to the new red and green slim fit khakis of the style revolt being led by Dockers. The Bidwell's a comfy, clean, and a timeless design, very cool.

I'm usually a 10.5, but I order Keen's in a size 10 and they fit fine. This shoe is less dressy than other black slip-ons, but it is very comfortable and functional.

The Keen Bidwell Slip-On is a comfortable, casual, and long-lasting shoe. Easy to wear with jeans or casual pants. Though true to size, it can feel slightly wider than marked, which is true of most Keen's I've tried.

This shoe is much narrower than other 12-D Keen models. A co-worker with a smaller foot wanted to buy them from me, but they were also too tight on him.

This is a very comfortable and stylish shoe. I wear it for casual times out and even to work on days I can dress more casually. The shoe definitely runs a bit larger. I usually wear an 8 or 8.5 depending on the shoe. I ordered an 8.5 as I intended to wear with a thicker sock at times. It was much too large and I exchanged for an 8. It is comfortable with a Smartwool thicker sock or a dress sock. The thicker rubber sole is great for wet or snowy days and the leather does not stain from rain or snow.

These are amazing comfort shoes, as are all Keens. While I do not work in an overly formal position, I'd certainly not have a problem wearing these with a suit, as well as jeans.
