Just as indicated - Great deal when you can purchase something site unseen and have them be so perfect! Always searching for shoes that offer enough support and I believe have found! Adjustable straps & removable insoles make them fit my orthotics with same comfort. High quality appeal!

Taos II...better than Taos I? I'm a big fan of Keen shoes...each member of my family owns a pair. They're durable, look great and have EXCELLENT arch support. I bought my original pair after recovering from heel spur surgery. I wanted an outdoor shoe that had enough support that I wouldn't have to wear my orthotics. Keens did exactly that. I recently purchased the Taos II and am very happy with them...able to wear them immediately with no break-in period, no heel rubbing, etc. There are only two drawbacks to the Taos II: they don't have the bungee-cord drawstring (rather, a round shoelace-type drawstring) that I so loved about my old Taos' (although they seem to function just as well if not better) and the higher price than the Taos I. Either pair is EXCELLENT but I think that to save a few dollars, I'd probably just buy the Taos I.

Wonderful shoes! I love the comfort of these shoes. They roll nicely as I walk and I don't trip on uneven surfaces. They have no "break-in" period at all. Love the shape and firmness of the sole. I wish there were dress shoes that were this comfortable! Keen would get rich. They are cool, lightweight, well made, solid. Buy them.

Awesome sandal for use with orthotics, awesome store - I was looking for a sandal type of shoe that would work well with a full foot orthodic - this is it! These shoes are comfy, not too wide (I have narrow feet) and have a removable insole. They don't have as much airflow as sandals that don't take orthodics, but I'm finding that pretty much par for the course. It’s a good buy; good shoes for hiking, everyday walking and around town. Very cool looking as well.
Brands I'd also recommend: All my Keens thus far have been great.

Love them - I have a couple pair of the Keen sandals and my husband had these and I thought they were so comfortable so I got a pair. Love them and wear them everywhere. Very cushy and fit very well. Wish they had a more feminine color -- thought the photo looked like brown with pink straps, but they are beige and rust straps -- my only complaint. Order up 1/2 size.

After a heel injury, from an accident, my feet are no longer the same shoe size. The Keen Arroyo II was a good close fit! Now if only I could get a pair of shoes that are 2 different sizes...

Great Versatile Shoe - I have hiked and gone in the water with these shoes. Only complaint is the strap by tongue strap was not sewn in properly and broke my first wear. Obviously I couldn’t return them because I had already worn them outside. I would inspect for minor details like this before going out.

Just Like Being in My Slippers - I just love my Arroyo's. I put them on for the first time while on vacation in Venice Italy last month. They felt like I had taken my slippers! Comfort, style and functional. What else can you ask for in a sport shoe/sneaker? The service at Zappos was unbelievable. I ordered my Keens and the next day, there they were. This was my first of many transactions with Zappos. Thank you...Dr. Maggi Verhagen

Progressive and Fresh - Robust foot-bed is ready to ascend even the most demanding trail and chic little toe cap assists the descent. The straps are unbelievably reflective. Mastering the draw-cord lacing is somewhat challenging, but the shoe is much more comfortable if you can keep the mid shoe snug against the arch. Also, I wasn't sure if I should wear socks with the shoe because of the vents. With trial and error, I discovered that you must wear socks with the shoe if you are doing anything athletic but for running errands wearing no socks keep the feet cool.

Nice Shoe, But Heel Slips - This is a sturdy shoe and I had high hopes for it as I was looking for a sandal hybrid with a bit of motion control. That aspect is good. But I found that the heel was very wide in back and my heel kept slipping out of the back and making a noise. I was afraid it would cause a blister, so I ordered a half size smaller--the slipping was slightly better but still too much. I considered buying those heel inserts to take up the slack, but I have not had good luck with them. They tend to come unglued. So, sadly, I had to return both pairs. My mother tried them on and her heel slipped right out of them, too. It's like the heel area is not shaped well or something. Too wide in the heel. I did think they seemed a bit narrower than other Keens in the toe area though (although still wider than many brands). I usually buy Keens a half size larger, but these seemed possibly truer to size than other Keens.

I love this shoe. It is so much cooler-looking than the regular old Keens that absolutely everyone in my mountain town in Colorado is wearing. Yet they still offer breathability like a Keen sandal. The sole is very rugged allowing them to be worn almost as a hiking shoe - perfect for slipping on to walk the dogs on the trail. I've had numerous compliments on the great look and styling of this shoe. It is very comfortable as well.

Crissie’s Keen’s - This is my second pair of Keen’s. I have worn the first pair for 3 years now. They have been washed many, many times and they still look good. I was a little disappointed with the Arroyo II. The lace cord does not work as well as my other pair. I can not get the heel area as tight as I would like, therefore they slip up and down. I did not have to "break in" this pair as I did my first pair. They feel true to size. I plan to purchase more Keen’s in the future.

Keen Arroyo II - I am a new Keen customer and just love my new Arroyo IIs because they are airy like a sandal, but rugged like a trail shoe. Normally, I wear orthotics for walking but don't need them when I wear these shoes. Great fit and I love the color combination as well.

Good soles - The shoe is great except for two things. The heel slips even with extra pads. The other is pressure on the side of the foot below the little toes even with multiple adjustments, like socks verses no socks. Was disappointed because the bottoms of your feet are so happy with this style.
