I can't believe these shoes were on sale, Keen makes such a quality shoe. This is my second pair, the first pair lasted me 2 years (I walk my dog out on my property rain, snow, or shine 4-5 miles per day). These shoes are not narrow in the toes like previous post said. I have a bunion and need a slightly wider shoe, this shoe is perfect. Already put in 10 miles with them in past 2 days! Feel like a dream on my feet. Next day air, Zappos rocks.

Please stop changing the fit! I love Keen - I own about 8 pairs - all the same size. But every once in a while, I order a style that is a very different fit. These run narrow. Please, Keen - do not cater to narrow footed women; they have most of the other shoes in the world. They are very cute, though. I really wanted to keep them.

I love Keen shoes! I have wide feet with high arches and these shoes were comfortable right out of the box.They are great for wearing casually and rugged enough for rough trail walking or hiking. Be aware that Keen has sizing issues. Sizes vary from style to style. I can take an 8, 8 1/2 or a 9 with closed shoes usually requiring the larger size.

These are great shoes for hiking. They are sturdy but flexible. They are true to size but fit snugly. I would suggest going up a half size if you plan on wearing thick socks.

Just got these yesterday after a long search for a good walking summer/winter shoe that is waterproof and lightweight. These are exactly what I was looking for. I normally wear size 7-1/2, but am glad I ordered a size 8 in the Alamosa. I had ordered the Keen Voyageur in sized 7-1/2 and it fit well (it's true about Keen's varying sizes), but the heel was too wide and I returned them. The Alamosa hugs my narrow heel and has ample room for my wide forefoot. They feel very supportive for a low shoe. Pretty good arch and lots of cushioning too. I had reservations about that rubber toe, but on these it's not that prominent, and actually cute. Love this shoe!

This is the best hiking shoe I have ever owned. I did have to go up 1/2 size. Shoe is supportive and comfortable in one. Hiked 9 hours no pain, no strain, just enjoyment. Highly recommend. Bought 2 pairs in case not available from Keen next year. Zappos thank you for your continued excellent assistance in returns until I got it right!
