This shoe was a much better fit for me in the heel than most hiking shoes which are usually quite loose in the heel. Great arch support, too. I can wear these all day and be very comfortable.

I love all things Keen, and these shoes are no different. I got them because I walk about a mile to and from work every day, and needed shoes that would hold up for the long haul. They're waterproof too, so walking in the rain is no problem. They're comfortable to wear all day!

This is the best hiking shoe I have ever owned. I did have to go up 1/2 size. Shoe is supportive and comfortable in one. Hiked 9 hours no pain, no strain, just enjoyment. Highly recommend. Bought 2 pairs in case not available from Keen next year. Zappos thank you for your continued excellent assistance in returns until I got it right!

This is probably the most comfortable shoe I own. I wanted something that was a combination tennis shoe/hiking boot and this hits the nail on the head. I have a lot of issues with my feet and pain, etc. My dogs are hard to please. But man, these shoes are a winner!

Perfect show for summertime hiking. Put them on, wore them on a short walk one day, and then an 8 miler a couple days later. No problems. True to size, for me, but I wore thin hiking socks.

I really wanted to like these shoes. I wore them around the house and they are just too short and narrow. I usually wear a 9 in Merrells and these were 9 1/2. I think I even need a 10. They were narrow too, and I have normal B width feet. Nice shoe just hard to get the right fit. Sending them back and not even taking a chance on ordering a 10.

Love them! I wore them for the first time while hiking out West and couldn't be happier with them. They were super comfortable and kept me firmly on the hiking paths. I wore them with thick hiking socks and bought them 1/2 size bigger than my normal shoes. They are so comfortable I could wear them every day (if they didn't look like hiking shoes!).

I really like this shoe but the sizing just does not work for me. I ordered the 9½ and it was too short and narrow. I was not going to order the 10 but decided to give it a try. I have to return these too! My heel slips and they are too big! I normally wear a 9 in all shoes. I do not know how Keen decides on sizes.

I love these hiking shoes. Rated as the most comfortable light hikers by Backpacker magazine, I'd have to agree. Excellent support and cushion, no break-in time required.

Great looking (gargoyle/ceramic color) but had to return them for the heel slipping. Do not usually have that problem. Actually have never had that problem before. After wearing for 45 minutes around house found I had a hot red spot on my heel. I usually wear a 7 1/2 and ordered a 7 1/2. These felt a little small in the toe box but not quite a whole 1/2 size small. Probably would have kept the 7 1/2 if not for the heel slippage thing.

I ordered these shoes because I am working as a landscaper. I needed shoes that are waterproof, breath, provide foot support for heavy digging, and are comfortable. The Alamosa WP completely fit the bill! It is like wearing slippers to work! I would like to add that the customer service at Zappos was of tremendous help in finding me the perfect shoes.

I really wanted to like these shoes, but unfortunately the toe box was painfully small. Within a few minutes of walking around in these shoes, I could feel hot, painful friction against my pinky toes. I am a true 7.5 in almost every shoe (including my other Keen shoes), and I do not have wide feet, but these were very narrow in the toes. I would have liked to just order a half size up, but the heel felt a bit big and was slipping, so I don't think that would have worked. They do look nice and feel sturdy and supportive for my high arches, but unfortunately they are just too painful.

I love these shoes! They were comfortable from the moment I put them on. They are nice looking compared to other walking shoes. The best feature is that they are waterproof: perfect for Seattle weather.

Please stop changing the fit! I love Keen - I own about 8 pairs - all the same size. But every once in a while, I order a style that is a very different fit. These run narrow. Please, Keen - do not cater to narrow footed women; they have most of the other shoes in the world. They are very cute, though. I really wanted to keep them.

These are great shoes for hiking. They are sturdy but flexible. They are true to size but fit snugly. I would suggest going up a half size if you plan on wearing thick socks.
