Great shoe! All the comfort of the Targhee II, but not quite as clunky looking. Same comfort, and finally a light colored shoe,

I was looking forward to getting these shoes. However, my heel slips in them, and they look more like a hiking boot than they do in the picture.

These are the most comfortable hikers I have had, they are versatile and stable. I was unsure of Keens because they can be too wide but these fit great! I recommend them to anyone.

I bought these hiking shoes looking for style, comfort and waterproof ability. I was not disappointed. They fit very comfortably from the first wear. Nice support and traction. I have several Keen shoes and are always pleased with their products.

Great travel shoes! I added some inserts to add to the comfort, but they are fine on their own as well.

I love them! Love them! Sized correctly for 6M and I now use them instead of athletic shoes for the gym. Put a pair of Spenco arch supports in them for the ultimate support.

Keens usually fit me very well; I need a wide (D/E) toe box but a narrow heel. These were much closer to a standard brand's medium shoe and were too tight in the toes. Really cute athletic/hiking shoe otherwise, with Keen's signature sturdy exterior and soft interior. I wish they'd fit me better. I returned these and kept the Merrell Moab Ventilators.

I can't imagine why people have written that this shoe runs true to size. It's almost an inch shorter than the true-to-size hiking shoes I own, and perhaps half an inch narrower. It's a handsome, well-made lightweight shoe with great traction and apparently excellent support, but needless to say I didn't spend any time wearing it.

I was replacing my very comfy but worn out Merrell multi-sport shoes (similar to the current Ventilator, but a model that is no longer made). I'd tried on both Merrell and Keens to see which current model would be the best fit for me. I wanted a more "breathable" and cool shoe for long day hikes (done without a lot of pack weight). Since I wear a very thick, cushioned sock with the shoe, I found that the Keen Alamosa was the best fit - with both thick hiking sock and Superfeet Premium Insoles. What I especially like about the Keen Alamosa is the color (dark gray with coral accents) that match my darker hiking pants; and the shoelaces that are so easy to untie, but actually stay tied all throughout my hike. This is a great looking, stylish shoe that is noticeably cooler than my old Merrells (which had no mesh on the top). I did find that the size 9 I got seems to be about 1/2 size bigger - but that extra space is taken up with my thicker socks. Otherwise, the width is just fine, and the overall comfort is great!

Love the beige color but this shoe has no arch support that I can detect. It feels shorter than the waterproof version, which makes no sense! It's a very light shoe and would be great in warm weather.

I bought these with the intent of using them as a day hikers. They are very comfortable and stylish - they didn't need any break-in time. I wore them in the field all day and they were great. The only small downside is that they wear a little on the warm side. I had read previous reviews and many people felt they run small, but they seemed to be true to size for me.

These shoes are awesome. To finally find a pair that fits around the ankle, does not slip on the heel, and are comfortable. I got two pairs, and will definitely order the colors that I do not have soon. They are nice and lightweight, but good for trail hiking.

I love this shoe! I have RA and couldn't find anything that didn't hurt my feet. Then I found these. Wow, I can wear them all day without any pain. I have narrow feet, and have had trouble finding Keen's that fit, these fit great. Please don't ever discontinue these.

I would agree with previous reviewers that these run small, are more narrow than other Keens that I own, and the arch support seems to be lacking. Hence the lower-than-5-star rating. That being said, the shoe appears to be very well made, and looks durable. I ordered mine a half size larger (7.5 vs. 7)after reading other reviews, then went and got some Spenco insoles (around a good price), and they are good to go. I expect to get a lot of use out of these this summer on short day hikes, and dog walks.

These shoes are great. The size was right on with my other walking shoes. They are waterproof & arch support is wonderful. I love all the Keen sandals & hiking boots I have gotten.
Brands I'd also recommend: Only Keen as that is all I will buy!
