I bought it based on recent "Outside Magazine" review in preparation for 165 Tahoe Rim Trail hike. Fantastic fit, light weight and breathable, plus great traction. You probably would not want to use this carrying a heavy pack. But this is a great fast hiker boot!

Current new favorite. Lightweight. Little break in. A little roomy at first but I added a Montrail insole & thicker Thorlo socks to better fill the shoe & now they are perfect. Love wearing them. Don't notice them while hiking...a good sign. Seem durable & well made. Watching for a waterproof version. Go one size up.
