This shoe is the best trail shoe I have ever had. It is great, had great traction, and has great grip on wet rocks! I have put hundreds of miles on these and they are great!

Very light and comfortable, and they would have been five stars all around if they weren't maybe a quarter size smaller than marked. A great shoe, and of course, they're orange. Lots of favorable comments. And did I say they're orange?

Positives: Light-weight. Minimal heel:toe drop. Mid-sole cushioning, while minimal, lasts longer than other light-weights. Out-sole is very grippy on all terrains. Negatives: Weird lacing system makes it hard to get a snug fit for steep downhills, leading to black toenails. Weird laces also prevent use of trail gaiters.

I was researching new ultra light weight trail shoes, and came across the Keen A86 TR. All along the sides is mesh, which allows the shoe to breath wonderfully well. As I mentioned this shoe is so light weight. It is made well, and the textures all around the shoe are so lush. My favorite thing about is the lacing system. It causes the shoe to fit and contour to your foot, instead of forcing your foot to fit the shoe.
Brands I'd also recommend: Supra, Salomon, Scarpa, Puma

These are great looking shoes; extremely light and comfortable only wearing them a short time. The picture does not do them justice. They look a lot better in person. They are extremely lightweight and feel like a glove. Will make a great summer shoe. As usual great service from Zappos. Will keep coming back.

These are awesome shoes. They are some of the most comfortable shoes I have ever had. They are so lightweight, that you sometimes don't even know that they are on. The sole pattern is awesome for uphill and downhill trail running. The built in welded support, the way it wraps around the foot, and the lacing are fabulous. It's a great shoe for my narrow feet.

I bought these for my son for cross-country running. He loves them! He has suffered from PC, and has had no pain running in these shoes. They are so much lighter than the stability shoes he normally wears.

I liked the looks and concept, but the shoe was tight (too narrow) at the front. Also there is zero of the arch support that Keen shoes are famous for. And there is very minimal padding. Nope. I sent them back.
Brands I'd also recommend: if you have flat, narrow feet and don;t need padding, this is the shoe for you.

I love these shoes! I bought them to replace my workhorse Adidas for cross training at the gym. They are light weight and literally wrap around your foot. It's like wearing a sock. My tastes tend to be conservative and I wasn't sure about the big Keen on the side of the shoe but these are great looking shoes. I bought the black ones and I would buy them again. True to size.

These are absolutely fantastic shoes with a very polarizing look. The assymetrical lacing system is a godsend as it eliminates the hot spot commonly encountered with a traditional lacing system.

The shoe fits nicely and is comfortable. Has good traction in wet or dry conditions. My main complaint is that I have small ankles and can't tie the shoes tight enough and get a lot of debris in them.

Very nice shoes. First week it hurt my left ankle, may be because it is shaped specially for running which it makes you step in a certain way. But now it fits perfect and very comfortable. Can't stand with these shoes on for long hours.

I own four pairs of Keens and love them! This pair is tight and I can feel the bottom of them. They are uncomfortable. These were disappointing because I normally like Keens.
Brands I'd also recommend: none, Keens are the best.

Awesome shoes! Super comfortable and beautiful to look at. As mentioned by others they run small. In most shoes I wear an 11. With these the11.5 is what fit better. I ordered both the 11 and 11.5 so I could do a side by side comparison. These shoes are not for the cold. The mesh uppers let air flow through. I love them and will purchase them in another color.

Not impressed. I bought these cause I was too embarrassed to be seen in public with my Vibram FiveFingers. After wearing these I noticed a strain on the middle of my foot arch. The idea that my foot needs to be "adjusted" to this type of shoe is not a realistic answer. I think there are better alternatives. I also question the build quality, they seem more like cheaper shoes. On the good side, they are light and can be okay running around town in. They are also unique looking. There are many alternatives though. I would recommend looking around first.

Loving these shoes after about 6 weeks. Very light & with lots of mesh. I have pretty high arches but I'm not bothered. These shoes make me want to run up on my mid foot. For those looking for the usual roomy Keen toebox, these might be a little more snug than usual, but my wide feet are happy.

These are light, beautiful shoes! The design is great, the feel is great, and there is only one thing I found that didn't work for me: they don't have the Keen's signature square toe box. I highly recommend them if the toe box isn't an issue.

Unlike most Keen shoes, these are not wide in the front. I have normal width feet, but the wide part of my foot is farther forward than is comfortable in most shoes. I have multiple casual Keens which fit great, but these don't work for me.
