Great Ol Standbys - You just cannot beat Keds for comfort when on a trip.
Brands I'd also recommend: I also like my Mephisto’s but they are a little pricey. SoftWalks are a great middle of the road and very comfy.

*Simple and minimal*... Nice plain black lightweight sneakers, true to size and comfortable enough for ordinary wear, but not really for long walks. I wish they had arch support and padding at the lip of the heel... then they'd be perfect.

I am a Keds wearer and this shoe runs a little narrow than other Keds styles. I was expecting the traditional width and was a little surprised. I kept the shoe because I like the color and hope it will stretch with wear.

I live in these shoes - This is a shoe for those who don't like frills. Just plain, black, and simple. Washable, good cushioning, what more can you ask for? Next day delivery was super.

I love this shoe! This shoe is my comfortable companion for casual wear. I have it in a black pair and a white pair. I wear it with my leggings and capris. Its comfort I want for everyday running about and this shoe with its arch support and soft cloth exterior, which is washable... makes my feet and me happy!

These shoes are really really comfortable, once you break them in that is. At first they are only moderately comfy with not too much arch support, but once you wear them for a couple of months they totally mold to your feet. I would suggest that you order a size up because my normal size 7 and 1/2 feel super sweet without socks, but with socks they are a little too snug. Also these shoes wear out sort of fast. I've worked mine regularly for three months and they look pretty shot, maybe another month or two and I'll have to chuck them. They look cooler without socks, too.

Perfect travel shoe: solid black looks more like Oxfords, but oh, so comfortable! Low heel easier on my back than most walking shoes.
Brands I'd also recommend: I\'m a Keds girl all the way.

I like the black side sole. It looks nice compared to the white side, white laces if you want that for the cooler months. In D, this style is too narrow for my bunioned foot. Keds leather has extra wide, which is what you should try if you need more width.

Love them! They are simple, but beware they run a little slim so blisters are bound at first, but you'll wear them in and love them! Simple and sweet tennis shoes for a great price! Wearing mine to Disney World!

I love Keds! They make great, comfortable shoes. You don't have to worry about getting them dirty because they are so easy to clean. I also want to say that my experience with Zappos was the very best! I order these shoes around 7PM and received them 2PM the next day! Amazing service! Thanks Zappos! A nice basic shoe. Keds are easy. I have trouble with my feet, and a hard time fitting. The ties allow me to get a snugger fit on my narrower foot, while the wide size fits my wider foot. I think this solid black shoe is nice looking enough for me to wear to work (in a business casual environment).

Love the look of the "all black" -- looks much more dressy than regular Keds with the white edging. Hope they make them in navy, also. Nice roomy toe space. New Keds aren't as "substantial" as the older ones and don't have as much arch support, but I'm sure that trend will continue as cost enters the equation. They still look nice, but couldn't be worn all day long like the older ones could.

I've had these for a little more than a month and the sole is coming off on both shoes and the heel rubber is falling apart. They are also incredibly painful to walk in for long distances. I put insoles in them and it's a little better. But they are super cute.

Love these sneakers! So cute with a pair of leggings. I would definitely go 1/2 a size down if I were you. At first I had to return the sneakers because they were too big but the customer service was fantastic! I didn't have to pay for return shipping either. Fantastic purchase!
