This is a great basic shoulder bag! I use to have one in grey that I used for five years before it gave out due to constant use. I like the black better; it looks cleaner. One of the best features of the bag is that it can hold a lot without being too cumbersome. Very functional.

I love this purse. It's the perfect size to hold everything that you need without being bulky. It's the perfect size for a small umbrella, light sweater, sunblock, and anything else that you need. I like the fact that the inside is water resistant. It helped greatly during a downpour at a summer festival. I would highly recommend this bag.

After having to ditch a fantastic purse that I traveled with all over the world, I purchased this bag to replace it and it's my new favorite! The shape of the purse curves with my body and allows me to stuff things into the pockets nicely and everything is organized. The bright color on the inside makes me smile every time I open the purse up. This is a great, sturdy purse at a wonderful price!

I purchased the Pyrite and I just got it today. I was afraid of the red on the inside but I put all my things in it and I love it. The adjustable strap is awesome. When I am in the mood for a crossbody I have a crossbody. When I'm in the mood for a shoulder bag. I have a shoulder bag. It's not as bulky as it looks in the pictures. I will be buying more from Kavu.

I love this bag. I was looking for something a little easier and smaller than most of my purses. I commute in Chicago constantly, so its nice to have a shoulder bag. The pockets are great; the little ones in the bag fit an iPhone perfectly. The adjustable straps are great too. I will for sure be using this bag all year round!

I love this bag. It's durable, versatile and so much fun. I've gotten lots of compliments on it. It is roomy enough to carry my planner, wallet, sunglasses, make up bag, keys and phone, but it's not so big as to be awkward to lug around. Living in the city I walk and take the subway or train more often then driving and I was tired of my purse constantly slipping off my shoulder when I walked or was carrying other bags. I wanted something that was still big enough to hold everything I needed but fit comfortably and did not look like a backpack or messenger bag. This bag is exactly what I needed. With all of its compartments and convenient key clip I am never digging to find something and still have room to spare for extra stuff that I might need occasionally. This is a perfect everyday walking around bag and would also be great for travel.

I ordered this bag from Zappos after the first one I bought from them over 6 years ago just like it (different fabric) finally needed replacing. I work in Russia and after washing and using the bag traveling in harsh conditions, the bag outlasted many others I had used! The bag is soft, roomy and what I liked about it is the comfort and security of having my hands free! I own at least 6 different Kavu bags and would highly recommend this one! When I received the bag, the zipper had a small hole in it and when I called Zappos, even though it wasn't their fault, they sent me a replacement free overnight and told me to keep the first one! Now I have 2 bags and plan to use them for many years to come! Zappos can't be beat!

Great purse for the price. You can wear it shopping, hiking, sightseeing or to the beach. The strap is wide and comfortable and can be adjusted to a satchel or crossbody style. I won't use it all the time but it's still a keeper. I bought the tan color first but returned it for the patterned fabric which is much more fun.
