I love this hat. The fit is perfect and it is a nice dark black. The hat is a bit flimsy at the top but still seems to retain its shape nicely. Zappos did an excellent job packaging this item so it arrived in the best possible protection from rough handling of shipping vendors. Thanks Zappos!

I brought this for my dad for Christmas this year and he just adores it! I bought it two weeks before Xmas and it only took two days to arrive at my door step!

Bought this hat as a gift for my brother. I did, however, try on the Tropic Player before sending it to him on his birthday. The hat is the perfect summer trilby. It's well made, well ventilated and is sized true. Get a Tropic Player and be a Cat Daddy.

This sure looks good in the picture, but having it in hand / on head, the shape is kind of odd. The material is very soft and pliable, so the lines are not crisp, and there is this weird indentation on both sides of the top that makes it look kind of goofy. It is definitely not sharp nor formal in any way. On the plus side, it is extremely breathable and light, so it would be great for summer use, or a musician on stage. I am returning mine.
I'd also recommend: Belfry Street Padre. - semi casual, but still sharp.
