These boots have no arch support and very little cushion in them. That being said, if you are looking to buy the Workday 2 you probably just want a boot that will keep your feet warm and dry, that they do wonderfully. My job requires me to work in a cooler several times a week, the floor is usually wet, and at the end of the day I have to clean and sanitize food contact equipment. Traditional leather boots would not keep their water resistance very long, causing my feet to become wet and therefore cold and miserable. These boots solved that and have made my work much more enjoyable. With the nylon collar, even when I am using a high pressure water hose to clean, no water can run down into the boot. The 8mm Thermal Guard liner does a great job keeping my feet warm even after eight hours in a 35 degree cooler. The rubber seems thick and durable, I expect these boots to last a while. I would highly recommend these if you have a job that requires cold and/or wet conditions. Just don't expect the comfort of a traditional work boot or shoe. I had seen that Kamik rubber boots ran a little tight so I ordered a full size up. When they came they were too big, so I called Zappos for an exchange. The person I talked with was courteous and helpful. I exchanged for a size down without problems and even got the boots delivered next day. As far as Zappos customer service goes A+.

These boots are awesome! I got these boots so I can play in the snow with my 2 year old. I like the way they look and better yet, they are very comfortable. At first I bought a different pair in size 10 of the same brand shoe and found that they were gigantic. I sent them back and reordered these in a size 9. They are perfect. Make sure you order one size smaller. These boots have steel toe which makes them more stable and not as flimsy as those without it. They are extremely warm. Wearing two socks will not be needed. However, I live in NC so it won't get as cold as those northern states. If I can't convince you how great they are then I should mention that my father-in-law liked mine so much that he ordered a pair without the steel toe. He has the same feelings as comfortability and warmth.

They do not appear as shown. The boot itself is correct but there are no blue markings on the calf section. They are very warm, soft, and cushioned but much too large so one's heel lifts up and pulls of socks, very irritating. That said, I'll be returning them for a size smaller. For potential buyers, the insulating layer is removable which is a definite plus.
Brands I'd also recommend: Red Wing Boots
