The Lucas2 is comfortable and easy-on/easy off. The style feels classic and yet it is a durable, warm boot. As with all boots, I find that one must be active to maintain warm feet in truly cold conditions. When shoveling or playing with my kids outside in these boots, my feet are very warm. The tread appears much less aggressive than some of the other boots that I was comparing (Kamik Icebreaker/Hunter) but actually, I have had no difficulties with traction in these boots. Would recommend.

Great boot, fits great and is comfortable. Altough the tread is weak and I find myself slipping a lot in the mud. Good rain boot for city life, but not for country living.

These boots are awesome for wading through muck and very warm. I put some gel inserts in to make them a little better to walk long distances in. If you live in cold climates these boots will come in very handy. There is enough wiggle room to wear thick socks but I am able to get away with regular sock due to the the boots insulated properties.

One thing I'm glad about, I wear a nine and a half shoe size. I order a size ten boot, even then it is a little tight. Will send you a testimony when I wear them all day long on my trip to Alaska at the end of May. Ask me then.
