Excellent purchase for my 5 year old daughter. After 2 weeks of at times wet, snow, and sub zero temps these boots have proven to be warm and waterproof as stated. The all black was a good choice for looking clean, and the soft top makes it easier to walk. The sole seems to give her good grip. She has been able to manage getting them on/off without help. When not wearing snow pants it might be a help to cinch up the top of the boot, but I don't see a need to adjust the velcro ankle strap as the boot has a snug entry. That was the only thing my daughter was unsure about was the "push" to get to the footbed, but once in it's a comfortable fit. I also think that snugness won't let the boot get pulled off in snow drift - it's a sure fit once on. The liner stays in place as they pull the boot off, but it can come out if needed. Just FYI...I pulled the liner out by hand just to look at it, but did find I needed my daughter to put it on like a sock in order to reinsert it.

My 4 year old son loves these boots and they are easy for him to put on by himself. They are spendy so I bought them a little big hoping to get 2 years wear out of them.

Bought these for my grandson. His last boots came undone easily and allowed snow to get in. He says they feel really good on his feet. I don't think there is any way snow can get in now with the toggle around the top. Love the strap near bottom; keeps foot snug in boot. Not cheap, but well worth the money for dry, warm feet.

These boots are just fantastic. We were having some issues finding one that fit right because my son's feet are a bit narrow, but the velcro ankle strap kept his feet right in place. He loves these boots - so much so that he refused to change into his sneakers once arriving at school!

It gets cold here in Northern Ontario (Canada) we thought to give a try to Kamik and we were surprised it was a perfect fit, very warm, in fact our son had asked few times to take his socks off, keeps his feet dry and the best part was, these boots were made in USA! Zappos is the best!

I should have bought 2 sizes larger. Too snug for my toddlers foot. He's a 9 but bought a 10, should have went one more up.

My 10 year old did not want winter boots but we live in Maine so it is not really an option! He has had several pairs in the past and never complained but wanted to try something different last year. This year he went back to the Kamik boots and said they are great. Worth the money and he never has complained of his feet being cold!

My kids have only had these for a week or two, but so far, they've been great. They've tolerated lots of sledding, deep snow, and muddy hiking, and we've heard no complaints!

We ordered these boots in a size 11 so our son would have room to grow through the winter and perhaps wear them some of next year. He currently wears a 10. Unfortunately, the boot is the same size, when measured as his current size 10's (boots and shoes). I am returning to get the 12. The boot itself is super cute and appears to be very warm. The liner is thick and his foot came out warm after only a couple of minutes plodding around the house. He is 3 and was very upset to have to take them off. They are comfy and lightweight. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a warm, comfy, lightweight boot. His foot popped into the boot and we also tightened up the ankle velcro. We bought the charcoal and are not disappointed at all in the color choice. Superb!

Bought these for my 7 yo son and another pair for my 10 yo son. Delivered to me the very next day!! Boots fit great and both kids can get them off and on w/o assistance. Hasn't snowed yet so that remains to be seen. Happy so far!

I love these boots for my kids. I bought some for my 2, 5 and 8 year olds. It keeps their feet warm and dry. My kids say they are not heavy and they feel very good on their feet. They love their boots, especially my 2 year old. I'll keep buying these boots for my kids every winter.
