My daughter loves them. They are pink enough for her to wear and sturdy enough for my liking. The toe is covered with the same material as the sole. All the straps are adjustable so even though they are too big for her, we were able to adjust them enough to fit. She measures a 12.5 so we ordered 13. They appear to be at least a size larger. The soles seem sturdy and thick. These should be perfect for school, camp, and vacation.

Great shoe, comfortable from the start! She walked a mile in them the first day with total comfort! Slightly on the big side of a 1 but fits great for her!

This sandal/shoe is the best alternative I could find to wearing socks and sneakers in the summer. Also it beats a flip flop because the kid can run around and not loose their shoes. Plus when she rides her scooter or bike I don't have to worry about her toes getting scraped up. My daughter wears a 1 to 1.5 shoe, so I ordered the 2 size and it is a bit big, but she can still wear it. The one thing I don't like is that the straps are pretty long, so considering she has skinny feet and the shoes are a little big, when the straps are velcro down, they hang off about 2 inches, so they flap around a bit. But I suppose if you had the right size, it wouldn't be such an issue. It doesn't slow her down at all, I just would rather not see the straps flopping around.

My almost 6 year old daughter loves these sandals. She has very skinny feet, but they fit her fine with the adjustable velcro, even if they overlap the end a little. She loves that she can climb trees and ride her bike with them due to the closed toe, and it has been in many a lake and still look great.

Unusual fit. Strap idea to adjust fit made it "too strappy" and seemed to angle feet out.

We purchased these shoes to protect our daughter's feet at the beach and in our yard when we wash the car, water the garden, or cool off in a sprinkler. The shoes are adjustable, so they fit very well. The straps are long around the ankle, but they do not seem to get in the way. Overall, we would recommend these shoes to others looking for a sturdy water shoe for their children.

Love these sandals! We're just starting out the season but they seem very sturdy (my number one requirement) and cute too! My daughter had no complaints. She is super tough on shoes so wanted something to last the season. I feel like they run pretty small. My daughter is a solid 1 1/2 size in sneakers and a 13 in these.

My daughter measures 3½ to 4 so I ordered a 3 because of previous comments and these shoes fit well. The adjustable straps are really nice-she has narrow feet so it can be kind of tricky to find anything that fits right.

Loved these! Wish we could have kept them but they were way to big! And they did not make them any smaller than an 11. I would have gotten a 10 instead - very cute and a lot of support - still giving them enough breathing room for summer weather!

Nice sandals but terrible sizing. My daughter usually wears size 1 and we have other Kamik sandals in size 1 which is perfect size for her. This size 1 is huge, so I reordered it in size 13 because they don't have half sizes and they like over inch smaller than size 1. We keep it because my daughter likes it but she probably overgrows it in just couple months, so money not well spent.

I am really pleased with these shoes. They feel sturdy and look nice. The color is pretty close to what the picture looks like on my screen. They are generously sized, so you might want to order smaller if your child is between sizes. Overall, I'd say this was a good purchase.

These shoes are terrific! My 7 year old daughter loves them -- both for how they look as well as for how they feel. They are super comfortable for all activities. She's worn them hiking, camping, to the beach, etc. The adjustable straps plus the closed toe in a waterproof summer sandal make these Kamik's a definite "will buy again." I bought Keen's last summer and will never buy Keen's again -- blister-city, uncomfortable, ugly. Kamik has found all the right solutions.

Seems to be a well-made shoe. My daughter's feet are very narrow & are sort of swallowed up in this shoe - I can barely see her toes. Had to go a size down. But I like the toe guard and adjustable straps for her. Will keep.

My daughter loves these shoes. They are perfect for bike riding, hiking, and other such activities that you can't wear flip flops. They are very well made and true to size.

I love the style of this shoe. It provides great toe coverage but still has breathability. It does run large. Had to return the first order for a whole size smaller. The only down side I've found is that they make my kid's feet stink! Luckily the shoes was up easily in the machine, but we are doing it every week.
