- Waterproof and lightweight TPO upper.
- Composite toe and steel plate.
- Waterproof 1000 denier adjustable nylon collar.
- Oil and acid resistant treatment features a special compound used in the injection molding process that has been tested to withstand a wide range of chemicals beyond the capabilities of normal materials. Extreme conditions can alter performance.
- Removable 13mm Zylex® 2F Liner features a four layer design to provide superior warmth and moisture management:
-The first layer closest to the foot, the antibacterial layer, wicks perspiration away from the foot and provides an antibacterial treatment to fight the growth of odor causing bacterial and fungus.
-The second layer is made up of soft foam cushioning to the foot and provides insulation.
-A dense felt layer, the third layer traps body heat within the natural air pockets.
-A Space Program technology, the fourth layer is a thermal foil that provides a deflecting barrier against the outside while reflecting body heat back to the body. - Moisture wicking lining.
- Extra 11mm Zylex® Insole provides long-wear comfort.
- LOYALTY outsole maximizes traction.

- CSA® Grade 1 Certification. Canadian Standards Association (CSA), a world leader in safety standards testing, Grade 1 certification for the steel toe is met with this boot. Grade 1 certification means the steel toe can withstand impacts of up to 93lbs, and is also equipped with a puncture resistant steel midsole. This midsole, or plate, is especially effective for any industry where sharp objects are present on the ground surface.

These boots are great! They are the second winter snow boot I got from Zappos and these are the winners. They are warm and the tie at the top is the best to keep the snow out. I wouldn't go jogging in them, but for shoveling, sledding and just hanging out they are good.

I loved the boots. They're keeping me warm in the oilfield, and I already recommended the boots to all the other crews out there. So if you work outdoors a lot like in the oilfield I would get some boots that are rated for negative temperatures.
Brands I'd also recommend: Baffin / Bogs

I am very happy with these boots. They are heavy duty, fireman like. Very comfortable, size is true. Warm, waterproof. Carol was great over the phone. This should be the last pair of boots I ever buy. Love 'em.

Lots of snow this season, so it was time to toss the $15 no name snow boots I'd been using the past 15 years. After reading reviews of many brands and models, I rolled the dice on these knee-high Kamiks, and am I ever glad I did. I wanted warm, waterproof, drift-tolerant, and easy on/off. The Goliath 3 delivered on all counts. My favorite is the on/off ease of this model. I just aim my big toe in between the felt liner sides and I just sink deliciously to the soft felt footbed. "Butter" I tell you! And off? Just pinch the back of the heel with opposite foot and I lift easily out of this monster boot. I had surgery two weeks back, so I did catch-up snow removal of 25" today. Warm, comfortable, great support. These aren't necessarily for social outings, but they fill the bill every which way otherwise. And the composite safety toe was an unexpected bonus. Leave it to Canadians to make it right for the deep and cold stuff! And as always, Zappos is the best customer service company on the planet!
