I think this is a really big 7. I have Muck boots in a 7 and they don't seem this big. I got these for lobstering in Maine but they are way to clompy to wear on a boat. I think I'd be tripping over them all day. I'm bummed because I think they would have been warm.

WARM and DRY! I had been looking for the right boots for ice fishing in NH. Conditions can range from hard ice, to deep snow, to slush or even a 1/2 foot of standing water! These boots handle it all. The temperature ratings on boots are always overstated because they are based on the person constantly moving. These are plenty warm - even after hours of limited activity standing on the ice. I was surprised at how comfortable they are walking. I usually trudge about a 1/2 mile dragging my gear behind me. The boots don't have any straps or cinches, but they aren't needed (although I wouldn't try to climb a mountain in them). I ordered them in my normal shoe size and they fit fine with plenty of room for a thicker sock. Go Canadian and go with Kamik!
