Overall:

I am very pleased with my Kamik Ellies. They fit perfectly around the foot and ankle to size. The sole was much more comfortable than I expected. I thought the sole would be hard because the boot is essentially plastic, but the sole is padded.

I bought these a size or a half up from my normal size (I usually wear a 9 or 9.5, I bought these in a 10) and they were way too tight. I almost couldn't get them off again, so I had to return them. I didn't end up getting another pair because the next size available was like a 12. I'm leaving a rating of all 4s so as not to mess up the ratings; they seem like they would be really warm, if a bit stiff. If you buy these, definitely order a size or more up.

I love these boots! We've had nothing but rain the past several days, and they've kept my feet warm and dry. Also, as another reviewer said, they're great superhero boots; I wore them on Halloween with my costume, and they looked terrific.

I have not owned a pair of rain boots since I was a child. However I needed a pair to wear to a very wet outdoor event, so I went to Zappos and did some research on them. After reading many reviews on various brands and styles I selected the Kamik Ellie. When I received them the very next day, thank you Zappos, I was very pleased that they fit perfectly. I wear between a 6 1/2 to 7. I ordered a size 7 in these boots. I have worn them several times and every time I wear them I get numerous compliments on them. People want to know where I got them. They are also very comfortable, you can\'t go wrong with these.

I really like these boots. Haven't yet worn in them in horrible rainy weather, but I know they will stand up. They are a little stiff, but still comfortable. Great purchase!

First, I could not believe how fast I received these boots. Believe I ordered on a Monday late afternoon and got them on Wednesday. Unbelievable! They are great boots for our Northwest weather. Nice fit. Comfortable. They are a slimmer design at the top so not all pants fit comfortably inside the boot. Not a big deal. Kamik also has a recycling program. Save the box and when you are done with them send them back and the company recycles them.

These boots are very comfy to walk in (I use mine to walk my husky on rainy days in New England), but slimmer through the calf than I had anticipated (although they fit great). They are a great buy. The rainboots I had previously were a cheap $20 pair that wore out quickly, but getting quality rain boots was a great investment. I love the traction on the bottom; I'll never slip on wet sidewalks again!

I am very happy with my boots. They are well made & I think they will be great in the snow, ice & cold. It has not been really cold yet so I have not been able to test them in the snow, ice & slush. They do fit snugly though. I bought 1/2 size larger & I wish I had gotten a whole size larger. I think they will stretch some, though, which is why I did not return them right away to get a larger size. I think I will be using warm socks in the real cold even though they have "Thinsulate," which is why I think it's important to get a whole size up. I think they look pretty good for the kind of boots they are. I do recommend them to my friends.

I was very pleased with the style and fit of the boot. It was true to size butstill allows for a heavier sock. It is perfect for trekking around in the rain and snow and I especially like the bottom treads that provide much needed traction in slippery weather. A winner all around at a fantastic price!

These are really cute, but I have to send them back. The toe area fits great, but the ankle and calf are too big for my skinny legs. I could live with the roomy calf, but the extra ankle room makes my heel rub up and down inside the boot, and that is uncomfortable. Next time, I will stick to zippered boots.

I bought these for my son. He hasn't used them in the snow yet, but we have purchased Kamik snow boot before and they're great. The removable liners are especially nice because you can wash them. They're not heavy and clunky like some boots can be.

They are narrow as well so if you have really wide feet, they probably won't work for you. They fit me perfectly and I absolutely love them. I've already received compliments because they look so much more feminine and cute than most clunky rain boots.

I'm ready to face another nasty New York winter with these babies. They got me through last year's storms with flying colors. Cute, totally waterproof, with a super soft and cozy lining on the inside, so they're perfect for tromping through snowbanks. My toes stay toasty! There's no arch support, as in most rain boots, but I slipped in a cushy liner and I'm good to go. I almost look forward to having to wear them.

Bought these boots for the great color and Polartec lining. They are really cute, but I had to return them because they were a little small. If you wear a half size, definitely order a size up, otherwise you won't be able to get your foot in! Also, these boots are pretty narrow in the calf; mine are pretty muscular and the shaft was too snug for comfort (don't know that I could even wear leggings with these).

These boots were just what I was looking for. I can\'t swear to how they\'ll hold up once the snow and ice hit, but the construction seems perfect to deal with both. They are a bit heavy, but this is likely what will keep your feet warm and dry. Take that, Chicago winter!

These boots fit good, feel good. 100% waterproof, easy on-easy off and have a very good tread. If they hold up, it will be a very good buy.

High quality boot, worth more than they cost. They run about true to size, I\'m a 9.5 and I ordered a 10, but they\'re fine with socks. They look good too and not to big in such a large size.

They are really comfy and cute! I wear them all day when it\'s raining and I think they are warm enough that they can be my winter boots too. I ordered one full size above my normal size and they fit great.

These boots are so much fun! I love the color and the fit was perfect for my size 11 feet! I'm a narrow, but they only came in med., but they must run slightly narrow so perfect. I wear them with a thin sock and they keep my feet warm and dry here in Texas in the rainy season! Thanks Zappos for the great customer service!

Very shiny boot, good value for the price. I think they were pretty true to size, but if anything just slightly smaller. I wouldn't want to try to wear thick socks with these boots. Still a little early to know how durable they are, but they haven't cracked yet, and apparently the company has a recycling program for them when they do become unwearable. How cool is that!?

I absolutely love these boots. I wear a man\'s size 10 in normal shoes, and these fit me well in a women\'s size 11. However, if you have particularly wide/thick feet, I would probably recommend a size up, despite the fact the length is a very standard fit.
