So sad these gorgeous boots did not fit! I have average-to-large sized calves (some boots are a bit too tight for me to tuck jeans into), but these were huge! The fit on the foot felt perfect, but the shaft was at least 2 inches too big. A shame, because these are so well made and the details really stand out. Zappos can't be beat, though, so I'm sure I'll try another style.

Love this shoe... very soft on the inside. I will have to return it though because it's too big for me around the calf area. If you have big calves, or like extra room for tucking pants in, these might be your boots. Love earth shoes, but sending these back.

Gorgeous boots, very comfortable shoe. Since I've never purchased boots other than for snow or hiking, I did not realize the importance of boot circumference. These boots are enormous in the calves because the circumference is much wider than "usual". Even though I had purchased a full size smaller than I wear, it was actually difficult to keep my feet in the boots due to the huge calf size. If you're interested in purchasing the boots, please take the time to talk with one of the awesome customer service reps from Zappos. As gorgeous and well constructed as these boots are, they may not be the right selection for most people.

These boots are amazingly comfortable and fit me very muscular calves (16.5) like a glove. The fit around the calf is a little tight, but I think with wearing it will loosen a bit, and I will be able to tuck jeans into my boots. Until then, I will be wearing these with tights. I was also happy to see that these boots are a little more insulated than most fashion boots; I have seen out there.

Humm. Cute boots, but too small in the calf and too large in the foot. (I normally wear an 8, but these are too big. Think maybe a 7 1/2 would be good.) Also found out I am not a fan of the negative heel! Fortunately Zappos make finding the right boots/shoes/sandals so easy!

Love these boots. Perfect for my 16" calves with jeans tucked or not. They are very stylish and so comfortable. I unfortunately had to return my pair due to a broken zipper but Zappos is sending out another pair right away. Hoping these are in perfect working order.

Exactly the boots I have been searching for. I have big feet and big calves, so it's been difficult to find knee-high boots that fit both. These boots are comfortable and stylish. Because of the style of the sole, they do give you a bit of a workout, so don't plan on wearing them walking around an entire day without sore calves.

Great boots! I'm 5'2 and these boots end right below my knee, the calf opening is large enough for me to zip over my jeans. The shaft if the boot is curved in at the top and really fits my leg. Perfect for people with a wide calf. If you are not used to earth shoes they will feel weird at first, and your legs my feel tired but stick with it! I can walk all day in my earth boots/shoes.

I was so excited when these boots arrived. I first ordered a size 9 they were too big in the foot zipper in the right leg broke. So I sent them back ordered a 8 1/2. They came next day and same thing happened the zipper broke. These boots are beautiful but for the amount of money you should have a zipper of much better quality.

I just received these boots; they are very cute and well made. The calves were huge though; it made them look like paddock mucking boots instead of boots to be worn out. Bummer - I will try the Diablo next. I love Zappos' customer service.

Love! I have large calves and these boots fit...even with jeans in! I am thrilled. They are also very comfortable. The first day I wore them I did notice the difference in the heel, but now I want to get these in black and can't wait to get more Kalso shoes/boots. So glad I spent the money and got these boots.

I wanted to love these boots. Really, I did. I have thin feet and thin calves, and it took a foot cushion and a heel cushion to stop a size 8½ from sliding around on my normally size 9 feet. The 8, however, was too short. Even when I did get them to where they stayed on my feet comfortably, when I looked at myself in the mirror, they just looked too big. I had way too much space in the calves. I sm so sad because they felt good and looked good anywhere but on me.
