I love the older Earth sandals, with softer leather and comfortable footbeds. The newer footbeds raise your foot up to the stiffer straps and rub. I kept this sandal, but tell Earth to go back to the older version.

I always wear a size 8 in Earth shoes. But my feet won't fit into these shoes all the way. I guess because the leather fits so high onto the top of my foot. Therefore, when I walk my foot hangs off the back. I might try and 8.5. I will say though that the footbed itself was ultra comfortable.

As others have pointed out, the leather is really a bit stiff. So much so that I'm not even sure a month or two of wearing would soften it up. Also of note, this sandal feels about a half size short although the width of the toe/foot box is fine for me because I don't have a high volume foot. To add insult to injury, I'm not so sure I like the idea of the velcro closure. It's a narrow strap (which is also too long) and I just can't imagine that it's going to hold up to a whole summer's worth of opening and closing. For the price, I think a buckle would have been better. I will be sending this one back and I don't think I'll reorder in a half size larger. I like the sandal but I don't love it and I'm getting a bit tired of the inconsistent sizing from Earth. :(

I loved the style of this shoe. The overall comfort was great, however the angle of incline for toning purposes was awful. I know that this has become a trend of toning shoes but it failed for my purposes. I wish they would have a flat shoe option. I also felt that the lables of where the product is made were deceptive. There is a sticker that shows the American flag, upon closer inspection it says Designed In America and printed further inside shows Made In China. That is poor marketing and very disappointing to see that the company is trying to fool the customer.

I have been searching for a dress sandal for some time. Having returned to Earth shoes recently, I came across this one and was very pleased with the fit. I have a narrow foot, but the strap adjusts from the back and I have found it very comfortable. Looks nice, too. One of the things I like is the soft lining that doesn't get damp feeling from perspiration. My feet have always perspired a lot, and I often ruin the insides of my shoes from that. Unlike other shoes lined with a suede-like material, these are very durable to moisture. I love this shoe!

Love these shoes! Very very good quality. I found that "for me" the back strap really helps me to keep my posture in the negative heel technology. They are also very comfortable. However, I have skinny, narrow feet. It might be a little uncomfortable for someone with wide feet.

I have 5 pairs of Earth shoes and wear a pair every day. These sandals are just as comfortable as the others. Only 1 possible negative is the stitching around the heel; it rubs a bit on the bottom of my heel. Hopefully, I won't notice it after some wear. Otherwise, very nice, comfortable sandals.

So comfortable. My old Earth sandals are looking pretty beat after daily wear for 2 seasons including garden work in them. I still work in them but needed a new sandal to wear when I left the house. I tried several styles of Earth sandals for the 2011 season and these were the only ones that were perfect. No areas that rub and such a great foot bed. In love with the look and the feel, I just purchased a second pair so I will not be without a summer shoe next season. Due to 3 herniated disks I can only wear Earth shoes.

I love my Earth Flight shoes, and needed some sandals for the summer heat. I have gone the route of no support/barefoot and my feet have never felt better. I wear a 6 in the Flight, so I ordered a 6 and a 6.5 to try. The 6.5 fit perfectly. (The 6 was a little too snug in the leather section.) The leather is not too stiff, and the style looks great. I love the negative heel. The foot bed is very comfortable as well. Looks like I have to order all the other colors now! (Except that odd looking gray.)

These shoes run small by a half size. Other than that they seem comfortable and look cute.

I like the sandals they feel comfortable and look nice; nothing fancy, still good for most occasions. The aggravating thing is how unreliable Earth's sizing is. If I put 3 size 9 shoes next to each other all are different as far as the length goes. Maybe they should not outsource the business to China, the shoes are expensive enough. Zappos as usual was great delivering them in one day. My pair is about one size smaller but I keep them as they are a little wider than what I need so the larger size would be too wide. My big toe is sticking out though.

Loved the look of this sandal and the color. I have worn Earth shoes and loved them, this one was way too wide and I was unable to adjust the strap around the heel to fit at all, regretably.

If I didn't read other reviews, I would be embarrassed to write this one, my toenail on my right little toe catches in the straps when walking - and strange enough it has happened on another Earth sandal from a few years ago. Also, I'm usually a perfect 9 1/2, but this is a bit "roomy" and can't be adjusted anywhere but the main strap. It loses a star for the latter only because I'm sure there are plenty of people out there without my "toe" problem!

I am normally a perfect size nine, but this shoe felt a half size too narrow and a full size too short. After receiving the shoe from Zappos, I walked into a local shoe store and tried it on -- along with another Earth shoe style -- and found both to run small. Love the style, though.

I have plantars fascia and my feet hurt most of the time. These sandals have a negative heel which helps stretch the Achilles tendon, relieving foot pain. I can wear these all day and not have any pain. Amazing!

I read other reviews before ordering and did order 11 instead of my usual size 10. I really could use size 19 and a half if Earth made shoes that size, so I didn't mind the extra length. As several reviews remarked, the back strap is simply too long; however, I found that with a little wiggling of the strap and a little stretching of a loop, I could actually tuck the end of the strap into a loop where the top of the shoe meets the side and it would hold the strap securely. That really helps me. I did make the mistake of wearing them straight from the box for a mile and a half walk, and they rubbed one of my toes a little raw. The leather is stiff to begin with; however, they seem to be softening up as I wear them. I like the selection of colors and am generally pleased with them.

The shoes are exactly what I wanted, very comfortable and fit true to size. I have been very happy with all of the Earth shoes that I've purchased. Nice quality for the money.
