I was really hoping these would work for me as a casual, wear with capris, skirts, or shorts type sandal. I have a narrower foot, although most of the time am fine with a B width. These were too wide on my feet. I also don't care for the orangey sole. Very comfortable though. Going back to Zappos. Amazing service!

I loved the look of these so much. Versatile, dresses, shorts, the options are endless. But my feet did not like the fit at all. Very awkward footing and painful. Too bad. I had to return them.

These are adorable and really comfortable shoes, the perfect way to dress up without wearing heels. But! If you have thin ankles and not a high instep, the portion of the shoe above the instep may not be snug enough. Unfortunately, this happened to me. Trying to walk in these was like trying to walk in galoshes.

I ordered these shoes because I fell in love with them at first sight. The only problem is I have a very high instep (arch) and they don't work well because of that. It was such a struggle to get them on that I finally gave up. What a shame. I can tell they would be very comfortable and they're so cute. I'm so disappointed and so sorry I have to return them.

I love these sandals! I have a weak joint in my left foot due to arthritis and two surgeries, so finding sandals that are cute, comfortable and good for my feet can be a tall order. These are great because they provide comfortable support for walking and standing and my feet do not slide around. I love the zipper on the back. My only complaint is that the buckle rubs my ankle in a sensitive spot, but I think this is something that will correct itself as I wear them in. I gave 4 stars for comfort because of the buckle issue, but it's not such a problem that I couldn't wear these. I wear a size 8 - I found the sizing to be just right, even with the chronic swelling of my left foot.

This shoe has an odd fit and quality issues. I find that Earth shoes run a little long and roomy, so I ordered an 11 instead of a 12. The footbed was fine length-wise, but the fit was puzzling--it was wide at the forefoot but uncomfortably tight on the instep, and the right shoe was markedly wider than the other. I don't even have a particularly high instep. Worse still, the stitching on the footbed started to come apart after the first wearing, and the foam inside the footbed started coming out. It was bizarre. I usually have great luck with Earth, so this was very strange and disappointing. I ordered/returned these shoes from a retailer other than Zappos, but after all that trouble, I came straight back to Zappos to continue the search for the perfect sandal. The quest continues!

Nice looking sandal, but not as comfortable as they look I wore them for a marathon shopping trip and my feet were hurting at the end. So if your wearing them for short amounts of time they're OK.

These are very cute and stylish gladiator sandals. I thought they fit true to size in length and width. However, this was my first experience with Earth shoes, and I thought the negative heel felt awkward and uncomfortable. I also had a bit of slipping at the heel. The sandals have a buckle at the ankle, but tightening it caused big-time rubbing on the ankle. I felt like the heel was a bit loose and the foot straps a bit tight. Send them back.

These sandals are super cute and the leather is very soft, but while I usually wear an 8 in Earth shoes, they were too narrow in the arch and way too long in the toes, so I had to return them.

Light weight and comfortable, but initially it was hard to adjust to the lower heel. Also the ankle strap fell right on the ankle bone, so it rubs.

Couldn't even fit my foot halfway into the shoe with the buckle and zipper undone. I have wide feet and large ankles so maybe that was the reason. Decided not to try the next size up because then the shoe itself would be too big. Bummer.

These are great looking shoes and comfortable. I ordered the B-medium width and they are tight especially in the toe area. I think they run a little narrower than normal. After wearing 4 times they still are tight.
