I love Kalso Earth Shoes and needed a some nice sandals for an upcoming trip. These came today and I put them on right out of the box and took them for a one mile walk. They are so comfortable, I ordered some for my sister. I took the advise I read in the other reviews, I wear a size 8 1/2 and ordered a size 9. Happy feet!

I was looking for some classier, yet comfortable/supportive sandals to replace the Orthaheel flip flops I've been wearing daily. These shoes have been great, they're incredibly comfortable! I first ordered a size six, but they run a little bit small. When I wanted to make an exchange, the new shoes came the next day and were great!

I attempted to make this my first pair of Earth shoes. I have a friend that has an older pair and swears by them for comfort. I just had bilateral knee replacements so comfort in a shoe with good support is a must for me. I usually wear a 7 or a 7.5 so in this shoe I ordered a 7 and an 8. The 7 was too short. The 8 fit, but I felt walking was very difficult in this shoe. For lack of a better description, I felt as though I was walking uphill finding it very difficult to walk normal in this shoe. While I prefer a pretty, strappy sandal I thought the style was cute and appropriate for capris and shorts. I gave a 3 star for comfort but only because the foot bed is comfy and the arch support is good. I'm disappointed that this shoe didn't work out for me. I'm going to try the Keen sandal now and see how I do with that.

These are not real Kalso earth shoes because there is no negative heel here! It is the new zero heel. It feels very very flat and has no arch suppose at all. It is comfortable in the house but I know it would never cut it for a day of walking. And it is not what I am looking for when I order such expensive Kalso earth shoes! I can get cheap flat shoes at the mall! Come on; Bring back the negative heel!

Wow, my feet have been unhappy this last year & I have a hip going bad. I wore these first day for 9 hours & my feet or my hip did not hurt that day or the following day as they would with many shoes now. 100% better than Birkenstocks, I have had a pair of those for 3 years & they still give me blisters on the arch where they are too high. Earth are much Lighter, Footbed like a marshmallow, You can actually push down on the cork with your finger & it will give, unlike the hard Birks. The Earth Zero is my new favorite & I will buy all I can afford!

I was looking for a ballet slipper to travel with and spotted these. I like how the criss cross straps are adjustable thus, offering added top support which most ballet slippers do not. I ordered both the 5.5 and 6. The insole offers a modicum of support so I experimented with other insoles. I removed their insole and slipped in my Ariat's from my riding boots and 5.5 fit perfectly. I tried the insoles from my Finn Comfort and they fit with the 6. After sampling these around the house for a couple of hours, I realized that the shoe probably would not enable me to hold up all day touring and sightseeing. However, they would suffice to wear on the plane, mull around the hotel or for light, short touring. I do recommend them for wearing around the house and running errands.

I bought these for work 10-hours-on-my-feet shifts. They are nice and roomy in the toe box. Arch support is nice. The heels are stiff and rub blisters on both heels. I will keep them, because I think they will break in well. I give them 3 stars because they are comfortable, but not any more comfortable than say, Clarks or Soft Spots. Definitely more expensive than Clarks and Soft Spots. Zappos! On the other hand is awesome. I wish all companies were run as efficiently as Zappos.

These shoes are very cute. The only problem is that you cannot wear socks with them, and if they do not fit perfectly they rub your feet really badly.

Extremely comfortable sandal! Bought this sandal for a trip to France and it did not disappoint. Adjustable straps fit my narrow foot well. Great travel shoe that can be worn with anything.

I really wanted this shoe to work as my Lazers and glide Earth shoes are a bit worn, but they don't work. I should have listened to the people who had difficult feet and not even bothered with these. The arch support is minimal, the sole of the shoe is thin, the toe box is narrower than precious styles but they are cute! But cute doesn't make up for zero comfort and no support. These are going back. I am still searching for Earth athletic shoes that are comparable to the Glide or Lazer, but have concluded Earth has changed its design and focus. More importantly, Earth is not listening to its customers. If you have difficult feet or really like the Lazer or Glide, then these shoes aren't for you.

Great shoe! Purchased as a change from a "normal" flip flop. Sturdy cushioned footbed but takes a little bit of getting used to due to the negative heel. My foot is an average width and the cross piece didn't pinch or rub.

These are very comfortable with good arch support, cushioning and lots of toe room. The color seems a bit yellower than the cantaloupe color pictured. I just could not tolerate the negative heel. I felt I was falling over backwards. Plus they made my small foot look really clunky. These are going back.

These are very cute shoes. I tried them as I walked around the house for a day. I could not get over the lower heel and higher front. Also, by mid afternoon, my feet were getting tired. I am looking for a shoe that is comfortable at the end of a day of walking, so these are not it.

A friend had given me a pair like this when they were under the Earth shoe brand about 4 years ago because she didn't like the fit. I wore them out over 3 seasons. I loved them! I'd tried a pair in the same size in a shoe store last year, but the cross straps were way too tight. I decided to look again online and got the exact same size and color as the first pair, a size 7. Usually I wear a 7.5 or even 8. These fit perfectly at size 7. They look much dressier than a flip flop, but are much more comfortable. I'm so happy to have these!

have been looking for a comfortable shoe for my arthritic, very flat, wide, big feet for some time. These are much more stylish than Birkenstocks with the same "feel". They do run small, but they are plenty wide. (Although the velcro straps adjust smaller if needed.) They squeak A LOT, but hopefully this will lessen over time.

These fit well and were comfy, and they look decent (I mean seriously -- do you expect more than decent looks in a flip flop?) but since I have been having problems with the ligaments in the back of one knee, I decided I'd better pass for now; they do put stress in that area. Yes, a negative heel mimics standing in wet sand (Kalso's slogan since the 1970s!), but a hard rubber sole on concrete cannot mimic the 'give' of sand when you walk forward.

Cute looking but no support to speak of. It also felt like there was a big bump under the front part of my foot, which is not always the case with these negative heel shoes.

I found these to be too heavy and uncomfortable. They were just too "constructed" for comfortable flip flops. The soles are not cushioned at all; they're very hard and full of ridges and nubbins. I guess this brand isn't for me; I'll stick to my Tevas.

I love these shoes! They are protective of my foot without looking too clunky. They reason I rated style low is about what I think others think.

Super comfortable right out of the box. They feel a little big, but not enough to be quite annoying. I think next time I will go down a half size. I really like the style. The incline is subtle, I can't feel it and it isn't noticeable looking at them, either. They seem to help with lower back pain. Just got them, but I'm pretty sure I won't regret this purchase.

These shoes have great arch support. I have high arches and was impressed. However, the shoe was a bit too large and I wear 11's. The toe on these is really square and big. I felt like I was wearing clown shoes. They may look better on smaller feet.
