Kalso Earth

Love these shoes but the sole lining in the right shoe curled up under the toes and I couldn't flatten it out. Reordered the same shoes. Hope it doesn't happen again because I do love the shoes.

These shoes are like buttery slippers but go every with most everything. Extremely comfortable. Great quality and hold up very well. I have gold. They are my "get going" choice for style and comfort. Home Run Kalso-Earth!

Love the amazing comfort! Shoe bed is so soft , padded and the negative heel is energizing. I love the airy lace. Very cool on a warm day. I have no problem with the width of the strap. It goes with so much. I will be getting some scotch guard to protect the lace and edges from dirt. Extreme comfort and style!

This is the most comfortable style of Kalso Earth shoes that I have ever worn. I have two older pairs that are suede and leather, so I was very happy when I saw these on the website. I received multiple compliments about how they looked the first day that I wore them. At the end of the day, my feet and knees and back felt terrific! Please make more colors!

Love! So comfortable. Maybe runs a little small. I wear an 8.5 and had to order an 8 but 9 may be too big.

These shoes cause me to feel like my feet are falling asleep. Not really what I wanted in a shoe at this price. I have never had this problem with any other shoes. These have an elastic section at the back that, I believe, pushes on the Achilles tendon and causes this.

Now my "signature footwear", I have loved treading earth on the "negative heel" design, a Kals Earth Shoes trademark, since Aug 2008 in the black Cabo-K. I am currently on my fourth pair of these vegan sandals thanks to Kals and Zappos, the materials being used seem to have changed since that first pair in 2008, and I am replacing the Cabo San Lucas 2 faster due to wear. An amazingly positive experience is my description of that first shoe purchase from a website, and with the legendary Zappos customer service over the phone and online info, all the pairs have fit right out of the box.

I was excited to find the negative heel Kalso Earth brand in flip flops because I've loved the sneaker-type shoes from them and I think these are really cute. But I couldn't even take one step in these sandals. (I couldn't answer the questions about size, width, and arch support because I couldn't get them on to test them.) The straps are stiff and unyielding and I could barely squeeze my big toe through the hoop. They killed my bunion! I thought from the picture there would be plenty of room and the straps looked to be soft with a little give to them, but I was wrong. Sadly, I've had to return them.

I have been wearing Earth shoes for about 6 years and I love them. My last pair of flip flops finally gave out after heavy wear for 2 years so I ordered a new pair. I wear a size 7, sometimes an 8. I ordered a 7 and they were way too small (not even as long as my foot). I exchanged them for a size 8, which were still so narrow I couldn't get my foot in them. I might try a 9, but I have the feeling they will be too long and the arch will be in the wrong place. I am very disappointed. I was a loyal Earth Shoe customer, but I do feel that their quality has gone downhill in the past few years.

I bought these shoes about 3 years ago and wore them to death over 2+ years. I loved them and even bought them as a gift for my Mom. With summer coming, I wanted a new pair. Sadly, something seems very different. The plastic connection in the middle was irritating right away and the shoe, overall, seemed very tight. I am tempted to try a wide.

This is cute shoe on. It will not work for me because the back strap pushes my foot too far forward.

Used to have a couple of Earth shoes before and liked them a lot, so I decided to give these sandals a try and unfortunately was disappointed. They look and feel huge on my feet. They also make squishing sound with every step, and as a previous reviewer pointed out, their raised outer edge is uncomfortable for longer toes. Returning them. Thank you Zappos for an amazing shipping service!

The shoe ran really large and was REALLY, really wide. The negative heel thing didn't work for me- uncomfortable and hard to walk. Bummer, cause really cute looking.

I am a nurse working in a clinic. I have never tried Earth shoes (negative heel) but, after just one day on my feet, I am already convinced that it is great! The color is rich, leather is soft, sole is cushy, arch is perfect (i.e. substantial and comfortable). No leg cramps tonight! The freedom of a Teva with the support needed for work shoes. And they are pretty-- yahoo! I had to change sizes and Zappos was terrific with that process!

I have wide, duckfoot-shaped feet, so I have problems finding shoes that are comfortable. I really like these. I do agree with what one other person said - that the strap it a bit far back, but you get used to it. This pair replaced my old soft walk shoes, and I love them. Do be aware that the heel of your foot will be slightly lower than your toes. It works great for me. I highly recommend them. I will be buying more earth shoes in the future.

I only wear Kalso Earth shoes with the negative heels. They help to keep me from having surgery on one of my feet. They are stylish, and I enjoy the way they look particularly when I "dress up". In fact one of my doctors suggested I try them when I said NO to surgrey.

I have hard to fit feet so shoes are a challenge. I bought this in a 9, too tight in the toes, returned it for a 9 1/2 which is very roomy. I thought my narrow heel would go well with the elastic back, which it does. Love this! Earth shoes are the best shoes on the planet. They often need help, style wise, but this is a shoe I will wear all summer and likely beyond. Super comfortable and the gold color goes with everything! I loved this style so much I ordered it in blue. Love them both. If you are new to Earth shoes, don't worry about the feel of a negative heel, all you will feel is great. This is how we should stand and walk, it just feels natural! Elongates the spine and puts the weight where it is supposed to be,on your heel and midsole, not the balls of your feet. You won't notice the the negative heel, you'll just notice how good it feels.

I teach school and I loved these shoes until they started falling apart quickly and not like any Kalso Earth I have had! Some of my Kalso Earth shoes are 10 years old...they wear wonderfully. I noticed the elastic is wearing in places...if it breaks, the shoe is done. It's an expensive shoe...with maybe one season wear. So disappointed in them! Can Earth fix the problems?

I'm really surprised that I cannot comfortably fit my foot into this sandal, as I don't have fat nor wide feet. The top straps are tourniquet tight and have no give at all, feels impossible to walk without experiencing pain. The thong part is also set too far back on the sandal, leaving a huge gap between my toes and the end of the shoe. Very disappointing! The original Earth Cabo San Lucas was a much better design.

I have had Earth shoes in the past and I LOVED them. These are no different except that the elastic part would not hold my foot in place. I do have a narrow foot however, the shoe did not feel super wide to me. I walked around my house for a few minutes and my heel continually slipped out of them. Too bad because they are SUPER cute and comfy.
