AFter a very short time, the lenses in my glasses developed a sort of "film". These glasses are too expensive to be "defective" ??? Any comments???

I just got these glasses for a trip to the beach. They are very comfortable and the lenses are fantastic! The frame color is really nice and they fit comfortably!

I have had the Hard Kores for four months now and the experience has been all good. I am a low vision person with an acute sensitivity to light. Finding glasses that are dark enough to protect my sensitivity yet clear enough for me to see in varying light is a challenge. These are the best dark glasses that I have ever had. Granted, they are also the most expensive glasses that I have had but now I know that the decision to spend more was the correct one. The Kaenon' SR-91 lenses are no gimmick, they are clear and seem more durable than my old Oakley plastic lenses. The frames were immediately comfortable to the point where I thought that, eventually, they would work loose, but that has not happened. No slippage. I have worn them for hours at a time with no discomfort.

I originally bought the Kaenon Trade. I felt that the width of the frame was too small for my head. What can I say? I have a large melon. That being said, the Hard Kore is awesome. Fits perfectly. Great lens, I used too be a Costa guy, now I am sold on Kaenon. I am an avid Fisherman. Kaenon cuts the glare like no other. I highly recommend these glasses.

I have a pair of these in the tobacco frames, these are not meant for medium to small faces. With my pair, the left temple and lense come much closer to my face than the right side. Even with those issues aside, these would not be my go-to pair for outdoor sports (SUP, outdoor volleyball, or driving), which is disappointing considering the overpriced retail cost of this entire brand.

I was new to Kaenon and I have been very happy in the year since purchasing these. The weight and comfort is as good or better than any other high end sunglasses and the polarized lenses are phenomenal. Average price may exceed Oakley but quality is better. I would say I have an average size face and the fit is solid, not too long, narrow or boxy. I'd recommend for biking, driving and everyday style and plan to stay with Kanenon long term. Check em out on the diamond this summer all across MLB.

Absolutely the best fishing glasses I have owned and I have a LOT! The coverage is great especially for peripherally entering light (none gets in) they are fairly light weight and comfortable on my ears even after hours on the water, but the LENSE quality is very very exceptional. The SR 91 is amazing for low to normal light fishing conditions. I use a different lense for my open water fishing with a more reflective coating. You wont be dissapointed and they are worth the price.

I've been wearing the Tobacco Denim for a little over a year for outdoor sports activity and career fashion glasses. Love the wrap around, crisp clear sporty style. Ordered the tobacco this year. Would like to see the tobacco/olive frame come back. I'm definitely, sticking to these beautifully crafted Italian sunglasses. You must be careful with any polarized glasses. Could not wear the dark grey lenses in the evening sunlight in the Midwest. Personally, the copper lenses worked perfectly early morning, all day and at evening sunset. I was told that the dark grey worked better in the extremely bright Arizona, Nevada sunlight, a Zappos customer service rep. passed this helpful information to me.

Stylish, to be sure, but what sets these shades apart is the quality of the lens. They not only effectively reduce glare but also sharpen what you see. Not cheap but worth the price.

I bought these for my husband who wanted a pair of sunglasses that blocked out light on the sides and wanted to go away from the look of Oakleys. Thus far, these have not let him down and proclaims these are the best sunglasses he's ever worn and he's gone through a lot!! They may seem pricey, but you get what you pay for and are worth it. However, the matte black in the picture actually have a silver decal on the side instead of all black like is shown. No big deal really, but still would've looked better being all black, and that's the ONLY reason I'm giving the 4 stars for style. In the end, I would DEF buy this brand again.

Bought these in May of 2013. It is now early September and the tint is already beginning to wear away near the upper part of the frame. I'm not sure if it's from sweat or just poor construction. I'm pretty disappointed.

Great sunglasses. I have owned many top of the line sunglasses. Mauis, Persols, D&G, Revo to name a few. These are by far the most comfortable and have become my favorites. I was able to purchase these in blue, which are no longer available here. The styling is similiar to my persol Po3021-S which I also have in blue fading into tortoise at the bottom instead of clear. The main difference being the more curve around shape on the Kaenon. This is definitely an advantage on the water! I really like the rubber inserts on the nose section. I live in warm weather year round any most glasses tend to slide down on my nose when sweating. These do not. Comfort, design and practical use go to Kaenon. From a fashion standpoint, Persol wins (only by a small margin). Of course this is my opinion!

I never realized how amazing a good fitting pair of shades feels. I have worn Ray-Bans for years and these blow them out of the water.

I purchased these sunglasses 4 years ago, took a break for a while and got hooked on Ray-Ban aviators, and then recently went back to my Georgia's! I felt compelled to review these awesome glasses...first off the style/shape I think works well on all face shapes, but if you have a real petite face, they may be too large. They are crystal clear, super light and my husband thinks sexy as h***! I cannot believe it took me so long to go back, I'll be ordering the blue color tonight. By the way, I have the greenish-color frame, they match everything and I get a ton of compliments. Highly recommend Kaenon's.

I have trouble finding sunglasses that provide clear vision. After researching and reading many positive reviews about this brand, I decided to try one more time. These have proved to be the best yet - providing the clearest vision of any I've tried. This style, as all the other reviewers have indicated, fits close and is best for a medium to small head.

These sunglasses are the best! I will never go back to Ray-Bans. The style is perfect - I have trouble finding sunglasses that fit me because I have a narrow face. These look great and fit perfectly. The lenses provide perfect clarity, even on a cloudy day. I love my Kaenons!

These are really nice glasses and they look great. They feel great too and because of their width completely protect the eyes from sun and glare. They did a fine job on these.

Low ratings to Kaenon because their lenses were defective twice. With this pair and my son's Burnet's. The lenses are hard resin, not polycarbonate, and the hardcoating cracked on both pairs, which Kaenon did replace, with little apology. At this price I expect a better product. Kaenon, you wasted my time and money.

This is my fourth pair of Kaenon's over the years. I stumbled upon them a few years ago and found out that they still produce in Italy which is rare. That's all I really needed to know to become interested in them, I only wish they offered more styles than they do. Don't get me wrong - they have something for everybody but there are other brands who give you more choices yet the quality isn't as great as Kaenons. Either way though I feel extremely confident when buying a pair of Kaenons. The Beacon has a much smaller frame than the others I have owned. Think rectangular and slightly cat eyed (upwards). If you've never tried on "lean" looking lenses then you will likely be 50/50 on these so expect a possible return. They remind me of the squarish type glasses "LOCS" or a style you would see a lot in Southern California. Would love glass lenses but these are still great. Remember think thin and lean when you order these. My hat size is a 7 1/2 fitted. I would not recommend this to anyone with a larger head size...too lean. Smallish to reasonable medium better off.

This is my 3rd pair of Kaenons. I stick with them because they are made in Italy and compared to other glasses for the same price these are halfway decent. The lens clarity is great but I noticed the frames were just a little bit lighter (cheapened) compared to my other 2 models. The case is also different and so is the soft cleaning bag that comes with it. This tells me that either they changed factories or have dumbed the product down just a little to save money. Again though great lenses but the entire presentation as a whole has been dumbed down just a little. The price is rather high but compared to what RayBan Oakley and the others are selling for $150 these look and feel like a Mercedes vs a Toyota. I've also read reviews that the polarization "chips away" or wears off at some point. Some reviewers mentioned 1 yr. Apparently Kaenon does not honor a warranty for lens issues. You may want to double check that before you buy. Take care of these and that may not happen as quickly. The style is great. Kaenon has something for everybody.
