K2 Skates Reviews
I love my K2 skates. They are nice looking, very comfortable and it was easy for me to get back into rollerblading after not doing it for 20 years! Highly recommended.
For those of us cursed (or blessed) with wide feet, these skates by K2 are a near blessing. No other manufacturer of in line skates has half-sizes available. I have a wide foot and the soft boot is very forgiving, particularly when I'm at the skating rink. Further, the quality of the materials and overall construction convinced me that these in line skates were well worth the money. Add in free ground shipping and this is a purchase that I have had no regrets at all.
These are amazing. I had Rollerblade skates before and they hurt my ankles so I pretty much had accepted that that's how all in line skates were supposed to fit. But when I tried these none of that happened. They are comfortable, quiet, and smooth. And well worth the money. And to give props to Zappos and their staff...right after I purchased these the price dropped so I thought it would be a hassle to get an adjustment. I chatted online with a rep who took my order number and in less than a minute she told me my credit card would be refunded! I wish Zappos sold everything!
After purchasing a pair of expensive skates from a sporting goods store, I thought that I would return these as soon as they arrived. I am so glad that I did not. As soon as I slipped on the Athena, I was transported back to my childhood when I practically lived in roller blades. These skates fit comfortably and securely, feel stable and have such a smooth ride. You cannot get any of those things from a cheap pair. I was a bit hesitant, because I really wanted Rollerblade brand in-line skates and I did not know anything about this company, but I believe these skates are definitely worth the expense. I am looking forward my new workouts!
