The story of Justin Boots began in 1879, when H.J. Justin moved to Spanish Fort, Texas to become a boot repairman. He was a quick study, with an eye and talent for boot making. H.J. soon began his own boot company, Justin Boots, which he operated out of his home to serve cowboys passing though town. H.J. saw the potential for his business, so when a railroad was built ten years later in Nocona, Texas, he moved his family there to capitalize on a bigger market. In 1908, Justin Boots became a true family company when his sons, Earl and Avis, came to work for their father. Their combined efforts pushed the company forward, and just two years later, Justin Boots had doubled its production and was being sold in 26 states as well as Mexico, Canada, and Cuba. Seven years after their father´s death in 1918, his sons moved the company headquarters to Fort Worth where it still operates today.
Every pair of Justin Boots is a salute to the spirit of independence, hard work and authenticity of the cowboys who have worn them since 1879. After more than 130 years of Western boot making, Justin Boots is still true to its roots.
When you purchase a pair of Justin Boots you will own the most authentic and stylish Western footwear available. And with Justin´s patented J-Flex® Comfort System you will be wearing the most comfortable boots ever made. This is why Justin Boots has been crowned the ¨Standard Of The West Since 1879¨.

My first ever cowboy boots, and I'm 70. Wore them around the house for one day to see how they felt. The second time I wore them was to dance down the streets of the French Quarter in New Orleans in a second line parade. Nary a blister. After the parade, danced the night away in my boots. Unbelievably comfortable. I did wear a pair of fairly thick socks. Love my cowboy boots!

These boots are so beautiful. They fit great and are of superb quality.I wore them while doing the Texas Two-step all night! They were on my doorstep in less than 12 hours of ordering them! Of course, I would expect nothing less from Zappos. Great job. Keep up the good work.

These are gorgeous boots that are also comfortable! I have wide calves (18-19") and the shaft on a 9½C is just wide enough for them. They are a bit tight, but still wearable.

Darn! I ordered these boots in an 11W; could not get them on when they arrived and sent them back. That was before I learned how western boots SHOULD fit! Specifically, they need to be snug at the instep, should slip a little at the heel when new, and you should not be able to slip them on easily--you have to get your foot in and then kind of force it to drop into the heel with a bit of a thunk. It is a huge help to have boot hooks to help pull them on and a jack to help get them off. Now I wish I had not returned them and have to decide if I want to reorder. The color is gorgeous, and if I had not just spent a similar amount of money getting fitted in a western store for another pair, I'd reorder in a second!

Beautiful boot, great teal color. I love the gray and brown leather strip accents running through punched area around the top part of the boot. Really nice accent for wearing out the outside of skinny jeans.
