I have had these shoes about 1 month now. I am happy with the purchase and do feel like I am getting a better workout when I walk in them. It is important to follow their directions about limiting your walk time in them for the first week or so. Now, I can wear them all day and don\'t even notice them as being any different from my other walking shoes. The biggest improvement for me is the elimination of lower back pain that I get from walking or standing for long periods of time in my normal athletic shoes. I recommend these shoes and will be back for more.

These are cute boots, roomy, and true to size. I don't like so much how they are a bit baggy in the ankle area, but some people might like that style, you could still probably get away with it. Maybe it's because I have skinny ankles. I ordered the light brown because on various computer screens I thought they were a lighter/tan color that would match everything, but when I got them I realized they were a bit darker than I had expected or look in the picture, and other people thought so, too. Maybe it's the lighting, but they are still nice brown boots!

I bought my usual size in this shoe, but it felt much larger. It was also to wide. I have a narrow foot though. The sole doesn\'t flex much, it\'s pretty stiff. I got the brown, but it doesn\'t really look like real leather. It\'s looks cheap. The black pulls it off better. They are also not water proof. The snow soaks through. Traction is not good, be careful not to slip on the ice. The buckles are really cute, though. The boots look great paired with skinny jeans.

These are adorable shoes! I bought both the black and red and find them to be very comfortable and the fit true to size. The red is true red and look great with many things. I only wish they came in more colors!

These boots appear great at first, but unfortunately they do not stay up above the knee. They tend to slouch down, as there is plenty of room in the calf area. They look nice on, over jeans or with a wintry dress, but as you walk around, the boots slouch down below the knee. I like the idea of a comfy boot that goes over the knee - sexy, yet warm, but I just wish they were a little snugger around the leg.

Worth It. Okay, so I rock a high heel just about every day, but these feel much higher than described. However, they are so sophisticatedly adorable I don't mind. They're slightly large at my heel, but I had my shoe repair guy put in a heel pad and all was well. The whole look is perfect for the office as well as a night out. Love Naughty Monkey, love this shoe (just not walking a mile in them).

These booties are amazing. If you're even thinking of buying them, buy them. You will absolutely not regret it. They are very comfortable for what they are (I can walk a good 1/2 mile in them without resting before they start to hurt). No pain in the toe which is great. There isn't any real arch support, but do you really expect there to be any? The one thing to note is that because they pitch you so far forward the first thing to get sore is your Achilles tendon. They look so fabulous and you can channel anything from cowboy-glamazon to rockstar depending on your outfit! Or even remove the harnesses and have a pretty basic but removed-from-the-pack bootie. Granted their Balenciaga harness predecessors are sexier, but I think you'll prefer these at the price. Seriously, get them! You'll love them.

These boots seemed comfortable enough and true to size but I had trouble adjusting them. It was difficult to move the little plastic grip along the leather cord. Also, they were too bulky under my pant leg and too awkward to tuck the pant hems into the boot. The string in the front was also distracting to me as it would fling itself around and tap at the boot while I walked.

Compared to Doc Marten\'s or even Timberland boots these are a very lightweight construction. Wonderful in terms of comfort but not as substantial as I had expected. I also wish the zipper was the same color as the boots instead of a rather conspicuous silver-tone. These are minor complaints however. The boots fit true to size they work for my slender calves and the distressed color is a fun substitute for the usual black.

Overall, I'm pleased with this shoe. It is really stylish and has great color accents. I get compliments on this shoe all the time and is a great way to make a boring outfit stand out. A couple words of caution, though. The shoes are very high. I am a short person so this is great for me, but if you don't have the mettle to wear high heels, I wouldn't suggest this shoe. The shoe also felt a little narrow and stiff. Kind of hard to move. However, the bad aspects definitely do not outweigh the good.

I love these boots and have gotten many compliments on them. They look great with anything! However, since I wear a 6.5 and usually get a 7 in a boot to allow room for thick socks, I opted for the 7, ingoring the advice that these run big. Well, they definitely do. I have about a good inch and a half wiggle room.

Incredibly gorgeous, so sexy. However, I have a really hard time walking in them because my heel is always coming out. I think it is because my arches are too high; they don't feel too big size-wise. So, there is that minor difficulty. Also, the toe box is a bit narrow, which hurts after a while. Regardless of the above, I continue to wear these shoes and walk very carefully because they are so danged hot.

Can't wear them! I wish I would have read the reviews before buying these shoes. I've owned them for a few weeks and can't wear them for more than 1 hour at a time. The size fits (I think a bigger size would slip off my heel), but the toe box is painfully pushing on my toes!

Too small! These are great pumps, but they're at least a half size too small from true size. I actually think they're easier to walk in than my other pair of Elizabeth and James pumps (those were true to size), but because I bought them in leather, they will stretch. If you have difficulty walking in high heels, try Insolia inserts plus a good ball-of-foot cushion. It helps a lot! Also, if you dislike toe cleavage, these may not be for you.

I ordered these slippers because they look amazing. I love my Sanuk sandals and I wanted a pair of slip-ons for the house. I ordered a size 8 for my size 7-7.5 foot and they were snug at first, but since the "fluff" has matted down, they fit almost a bit loose. Exactly what I wanted though. Easy on, easy off. These slippers are very well made, unlike some of the complaints I have read. I am very pleased with my purchase.

I tried these on at Macy's just today. I thought that in person and on Zappos they looked quite fitted, but when I put them on, they really screamed "work boot!" I'm someone whose wardrobe consists of skirts and dresses because this skinny jean trend just isn't working for me, so I needed boots to keep my legs warm during the winter. But these boots are just way too casual and clunky looking to pair with anything I wear; my legs looked like inverted triangles! Or a peg leg! Maybe stick to wearing them with skinny jeans? Oh, and they were a major pain to get on, even though it was definitely my correct size once I got them on. Whoever mentioned having to get their husband pull them off of her feet at the end of the day was right!

Have been admiring Old Gringo boots online for over a year and half. Not being able to see them first hand, I was nervous to spend so much on them and end up returning them. My daughter and I agonized over the Leopardito or the Stud Cross. I finally bit the bullet the other day and ordered the Stud Cross in brown (even though I loved the black too) as I felt that the bronze tone on the boots was subtle but very edgy and was hoping they would match a similar designer handbag I bought. I was told I would get 4 to 5 day shipping but Zappos was fab and upgraded me to overnight shipping. Got the boots in less than 24 hours which was typical great Zappos service, but none the less awesome. Like other reviewers remark, the pictures do NOT do these boots justice remotely. I was so pleased when I took them out of their very cool and funky box to find that they were richer in color, softer and more stunning that the pictures remotely portrayed. There was NO WAY these were going back and they were a rich cognac brown, were beautifully crafted, the leather was everything you'd expect and not too stiff and they matched my purse like they were manufactured together. As for fit, I usually wear a 7 - 7.5. I ordered the 7 because of reviews on the site saying to size down. At first, barefoot, they fit fine, but with a light weight sock I was not so sure. I decided since the heel pocket felt good and the leather was soft (but durable) I should keep the 7's. I wore them for 4 hours yesterday and 2 hours today and they gave just enough to be fine with the socks and great barefoot. I have rheumatoid arthritis and lots of foot pain/problems so a well built, comfortable shoe is a must for me. These are not only going to be years of enduring cool that is not too trendy or over the top, but they are really wearable from a comfort standpoint too. Definitely will NOT be my last pair of Old Gringo's and will probably be looking at the Leopardito's next. Great job Zappos and Old Gringo. Please continue to bring us more of these great boots! An urban cowgirl or trendy rocker's dream but not too over the top for a trendy mom either!
