My 8 year old daughter loves these shoes. She has to wear solid black shoes as part of her school uniform and she likes the t-strap and flower imprint as they add a little fashion to otherwise simple shoe options. I thought the t-strap might be a little 'young' for her, but she not only likes that her shoes are unique at school but also that they add a little extra support to the shoe overall so she can run, jump, and play without worry that the shoe will slip off. (She especially likes that she can run fast in them.) She says they are comfortable (and doesn't take them off when she gets home from school) and they are holding up well. The strap, seams, sole, and toe still look new, even with 4 times per week wear (times 8 weeks of school thus far). If she still likes the t-strap, we will order this again for next school year.

I bought this for my daughter to wear at school. I liked the t-strap design because I felt like it allowed for a high arch. Because the shoe runs a little big, my daughter didn't want to wear them because her heal kept slipping out. The sole is nice but not a gripping sole, so I'd worry about slipping in wet areas if she's running.

My daughter has a medium width foot and a high instep. I was really hoping the t-strap would work for her but the 11 M was too narrow. Will try the wide version. Looks like a good shoe with good support.

Change in supplier isn't good. Last year's was very true to size. Not this year. 2.5N was on the edge of too small, but 3N wasn't narrow and my daughter was swimming in it. Side of shoe cut too high - hits ankle bone.
