I expected much better quality for the price of this shoe. My son has been wearing these sneakers for only a couple months, and pulled the ring attaching a velcro strap to the shoe off. I was surprised a 6 year old was able to pull the shoe apart; it seems to me shoes made for kids should be a little more child proof.

These shoes are holding up well to the wear and tear of a 4 year old boy. They are showing virtually no wear, even though he wears them every day. I like the sporty look without having to buy him shoes with Disney characters on them.

My son usually has to wear Stride Rite for the wide width. This is a very nice change because they are much more stylish and just as comfortable!

I got these for my active 3-year old son, and I was very dissatisfied with these shoes. After 3 or 4 weeks of wear, the velcro lost its stickiness and the stitching was fraying all around both shoes. What a disappointment, because they looked so rugged online. Maybe I just got a bad pair, but I am not ordering another one. My son is not even wearing them, because he loses patience with the velcro straps. Lucky for me, Zappos has spectacular customer service and they gave me a full refund.

I purchased these for my son last fall and they held up beautifully all winter long! They have a nice roomy fit for chunky little feet, are easy on/off and they dress up or down easily. I think I will order a pair again for this fall/winter. These are the perfect shoes for rugged little guys.

These are very cute little guy shoes. I chose them because they are easy on and off which encourages independent dressing. There is a total lack of dinosaurs, skulls, monster trucks, sharks, trademarked characters. I would like my little boy to look like a little boy and not a tweenager. That will come soon enough. These shoes are well made and true to size to slightly large. Very cute, and he really enjoys wearing them! He would like to add that he can run really fast in them. These are a great option!

Having trouble finding a little boy's velcro-closing shoe that does not light up or look like he should be going to Mars on a spaceship. Ordered this to find it runs large: wanted a 10, the 28 says "10.5" inside, so go down a size.
