Very cute shoe with great rubber sole and tip, so they last. The only issue is that they tend to be a little narrow, so I had to exchange for size Wide.\r\n

Great shoe. Our son needs the extra wide width, which can be hard to find. These fit very well. The toe is nice because it doesn't show scuffs as much. Only wish it came in bigger sizes. He's now in the 12XW.

These shoes are great! I've gotten other Jumping Jacks shoes before and they are always excellent quality. It is so hard to find shoes with leather lining for a reasonable price. Both my 3-year-old and 5-year-old are wearing these for school this year, one in brown and one in blue. Last year they each had a similar Jumping Jacks pair. The rubber toe keeps them from getting scuffed. The kids grow out of them before they wear out.

Horrible if your kid actually does have xx wides. These xx wides are nothing of the sort. They are horrible. I can barely get my son's feet into the shoe in the first place, and fastening the velcro straps is absolutely out of the question. I even ordered a half size up (they would be pretty long if we kept them). Obviously, these are going right back. Please do not waste your time if you are buying for a child with an extra wide foot. These are not xx wide, no matter what the company says. You will not be able to close them. Period. Stick with Stride Rite, even though the xx wide styles start to get very limited and not-so-attractive post-toddler age.

Great Shoes, Very Sturdy - I like Keens, so I like these for my son who has XW feet. The rubber toe makes them super sturdy, and my son has worn them for just short of a year. They are able to be worn for dressy or play situation. Love 'em!

Additional Brand Information

For more than 60 years, Jumping Jacks has been committed to making quality children’s shoes based on the premise that all kids do not have a medium width foot and that like their parents, they want and need comfortable footwear. Jumping Jacks believes in offering customers quality features that separate them from the competition. They believe in making children’s shoes out of soft leathers because leather allows the foot to breathe naturally which results in better foot health.

Two thirds of adults in America suffer from some sort of foot ailment. This is due largely from improperly fitting shoes. Jumping Jacks cushioned leather foot beds with leather linings are flexible and they use size graded outsoles for better fit. Their shoes are lightweight and they love using Hook & Loop closures for ease of fit.

Jumping Jacks believes children’s shoes should be for children and not adult take downs. Jumping Jacks is concerned about your child's feet; from baby on up. Whether you are looking for your baby’s first shoe or a comfortable fitting shoe for your child now, they believe their product will suit your child’s growing foot needs.

I bought these shoes for my son early in the school year and THEY SURVIVED. He actually outgrew them before wearing them out. These are, by far, the sturdiest shoes next to Keens. My son said they were very comfortable and never needed help getting them on and off. The velcro straps held all year (at least until sandal weather hit). I am going to get another pair for next school year come fall. These look great with just about every outfit. Thanks for carrying these!

Love this shoe - Love this shoe. As with the other Jumping Jacks I've bought, it's a well made, comfortable shoe for my active toddler. Also satisfies his fashion-conscious Mom since it goes great with playground wear as well as Sunday wear. Sturdy, water resistant, and fits my wide-footed little guy very well. I usually get the brown, but this time got the blue, and it looks great.

Straps not long enough for wide shoe - I bought this shoe in extra-wide for my son. While the actual shoe fit him, the straps were not long enough to fasten. Had to return. If you need an extra-wide shoe & like the hook & loop closure, I've had good luck with the Saucony Cohesion & the Stride Rite Outrider.

Jumping Jacks Big Voltage - It's hard to write a 100% accurate review as I am not the one wearing these shoes and my son at 2.5 years gives different reviews depending on his mood. Overall, he chose these shoes out of 5 other pairs and wouldn't take them off. They are very sturdy and nice looking. They are a little bit stiff, but maybe they will soften up after being worn a while. I would purchase this shoe again.

LOVE these shoes. Not the most comfortable things, but they are definitely hot! Do run a little bigger than I originally thought, but put some padding in, and they're fine. But recommended that you buy half a size smaller than usual.

Wish this shoe worked for my son - I was looking for a shoe for my son that would be comfortable but not a traditional sneaker. I loved the look of this shoe -- it's cute and slightly retro. And it came in double wide sizes. I ordered the 11.5 2W, which is what my son wears in Stride Rite. Unfortunately he said that his toe hit the top and the shoe felt snug on the sides. He was ready to like them but after walking around the house for a few minutes he said they weren't comfortable. So I'll be returning the shoe. I could exchange it for one size up but I'm second guessing the deviation from our usual brand. I wonder if sizing is tricky enough that I should just go for another Stride Rite shoe...

My 2 1/2 year old loves these! My son is usually VERY resistant to new shoes, so I bought these thinking that I would have to force him to wear them until he broke them in, as I usually do. To my surprise, he wanted to put them on right away! He doesn't even want to take them off to take a nap, he keeps saying "No, brown shoes on!" I'm not sure if he likes the look, or if they're just comfortable, but he loves them. They look cute and comfy, and time will tell how durable they are. He normally takes a wide, so that's what I ordered. They fit well but my only complaint is that I wish the straps were longer, although I can get the shoe closed, which is what really counts. Good shoe.

Well-made Shoe for Wide Feet - My son calls them his clown shoes and he loves them! He is 6 years old and has wide feet. They are VERY well-made shoes with good support that are easy to put on and take off. Unlike other toddler shoes they are "finished" nicely inside and do not rub or irritate. I didn't like the rubber toe, but it is very practical and keeps the shoes from getting that scuffed look. This is a quality shoe and I will keep my eyes open for more Jumping Jack shoes from now on.

Love Jumping Jacks! This is the second pair of Jumping Jacks we have purchased for our son, now 3. He finally outgrew last year's pair in the spring, which we bought half a size larger than he measured. Even after many months of hard toddler wear, the shoes still look great. The rubber on the toe protected him from many accidents, even when he dropped a heavy box on his foot. He walks and runs more confidently in these shoes and he says they are very comfortable. The fit is a little tight at first, but be assured that the shoe will stretch as the child wears it. We were advised to put him in thin socks at first, and after a few weeks, the shoes were broken in nicely. He always said the shoes were comfortable, even when we thought they might be a little tight. We bought his current shoes half a size larger, as well, to give him room to grow. Last year's shoes were brown, and looked great with everything from shorts and jeans to dressy outfits. We bought them in blue this year, and they look great with everything we have paired them with so far. It was important to us that these shoes look good with multi-seasonal clothing (i.e., shorts or pants), because we have warm autumns and short winters in North Carolina. The soles provide good traction on both slick red clay and slippery snow, also a plus in our region. Last year, we loved the Velcro closures because it made easy work of dressing a squirming toddler. This year, our son likes them because he can put them on and take them off himself. We looked at a lot of other shoe companies, but kept coming back to Jumping Jacks because of their quality, comfort, and appearance.

These are super cute! They look great and feel great on my little guy; they do run very large though- I had to return mine and order a full size down... Definitely a quality shoe!

Jumping Jack's Big Voltage - I thought these shoes were just so-so. I ordered a wide for my son and it was very difficult to put on. The shoe and the straps were very stiff and I had to completely take them out of the loops to put them on his feet. Also the tongue of the shoe was short and stiff. All together this was not a shoe I could quickly put on him, so I returned it.
