I've owned probably a dozen or more pairs of Josef Seibel shoes and have always been a size 40. These shoes are huge (they seem one size bigger) so I'm returning them, but I won't be getting another size. I'm disappointed in the quality. The heel looks cheaply made--not at all what you usually get from this brand.

What is it with European sizing? Really great shoe, totally unwearable; too big overall, heel abysmally wide. Back they go, and I'm not going to bother trying another size.

I did have to size down, but absolutely love these shoes. Great to dress up or down. I can wear them all day with no problems! A little arch support would be helpful.
