I have to say that I am disappointed with my new Philly shoes. I have had them for just a month and they look older than my other Josef Seibel shoes that I have worn for over a year. The toe of the shoe looks scratched up and worn. Unacceptable for a shoe of this price. As other reviewers have mentioned, they are very comfortable. I do enjoy wearing them, so I guess I will be spending a lot of time with shoe polish.

Josef Seibel's Philly Shoes -
These shoes are very well made and look nice with jeans. But...my feet are not the same size - right foot bigger than the left - and both are on the wide size. So, the size 39 did not fit my right foot but fit the left. For the price, I wanted these shoes to fit like a glove and they did not. They are beautifully made, however, and the support seemed really good. I'll see if another style of Josef Seibel's fits me a bit better than this one.

A great shoe -
These shoes were comfortable right out of the box. None of that wishing the stiffness would ease to see of the shoe actually fits right and feels comfortable. A great purchase that is worth every penny.

Josef Seibel Philly -
This is a really nice comfortable shoe. I wear jeans after work and on weekends, and I prefer a shoe with them as opposed to sneakers. I need a flatter shoe, not one with a heel. And this fits the bill. I got these in brown. Although the photo on Zappos looked like they are brown and black. They are actually brown and dark chocolate brown. The 2-tone look is really nice and a bit dressier in my opinion. Since my heel is narrow and slip-ons have a tendency to slip too much on me, I prefer shoes that lace. This is extremely comfortable and looks great with jeans. I'm sure it would look good with brown or tan dressy slacks as well. I also own the Patsy style from Seibel in black (which I also love). The fit is pretty similar for both style shoes. And they are extremely light weight. In addition, I have two pair of career-style Seibel shoes. They fit really well and are just as comfortable as these more casual shoes. Seibel does make good shoes. And Zappos is great! When I order shoes, the web indicates they should arrive in 4-5 days (as opposed to the next day). But they still ship immediately, and I always have them the next business day. Great service!

All of Joseph Seibels shoes are amazing. This is a very comfortable shoe especially when you are on your feet all day. I would definitely recommend this shoe.

These are very well made comfortable shoes-- good leather and support. They are perfect for nice casual shoes you can wear all day. No rough break in period either-- the first day is as good as any other. This brand has been consistently good-- I've had other Seibel shoes that have lasted years! (Other brands may last a few months of comfortable wear.)

LOVE THIS SHOE!
I needed a good-looking shoe to wear to work at a bank. I wanted them to be comfortable, look professional and I wanted to be able to wear socks. This shoe fits the bill.
