Would be great if you have wide feet and small calves, but I don't. I have narrow feet. These looked like clown shoes on me. Too bad because they are super-cute in the box.

Love these boots. Tried them on in a store; size 8, black. Perfect. J. Seibel shoes and boots are so well-made; I have three pairs of shoes that have worn so well I cannot give them up. No break-in time on the boots; comfy, good arch support, room for orthopedics, and the zipper works well. I have worn them with skirt and pants. Love the fleece inside. Only wish the calf came up a little higher. I have a medium-wide foot and normal calf size. Love the looks; this boot will wear well for years. Zappos, of course, is fabulous and has been my main source of footwear since 2006.
