What a great shoe! I bought these shoes based on the recommendation from a friend. What a good decision it turned out to be. I absolutely love them. The whole experience of buying from Zappos on the internet, to the shipping, to the quality and comfort of the shoe was wonderful. I would highly recommend them.

Seibel - I love Josef Seibel shoes. I actually ordered the Patsy and the Sallie and I like them both. The Sallie is a bit long and with the decorative toe looks even longer, but still worth it. The insoles are not supportive, but can be removed leaving enough room to put in your own insoles.

Nice shoe, but it squeaks - I regret that I will need to return this shoe because it squeaks when I walk in it. It's a well-made shoe and is comfortable. I suspect the problem is the difference in texture between the leather on the upperside of the tongue and the leather inside the shoe that the tongue rubs against. I see internet postings that say a problem of this type can usually be solved by rubbing something like saddle soap on the offending area, but I can't risk doing this and thus being unable to return the shoe if it still squeaks afterward. I don't see the squeaking issue mentioned by others who purchased the shoe, so perhaps it's not a widespread problem? I have a very difficult to fit foot and Joseph Seibel shoes have been the most comfortable and best fitting shoes that I have found. I find that this style fits me even better when I add "Tacco" brand arch supports to the shoe, but that is because my foot lacks height above the arch (the top of my foot is quite flat).

Comfortable Shoes - These are extremely comfortable shoes - I love the way they hug my feet. I have problems with balance so I need to wear shoes that provide stability and comfort. These shoes provide that for me. They are also attractive looking and I have received nice comments about them. I have found that Josef Seibel shoes are extremely comfortable and Zappos service is top-notch.

JS Shoes - They are pretty comfortable, thus the 4 rating. I have another pair of JS, a slip on pair that seems to be a bit more comfy all around. Maybe I just need to break these in a bit more.

Comfy and attractive - This shoe looks great with pants (not as clunky as some walking shoes - the lines are a bit sleeker) and was comfortable from the get-go. Walked about three miles in them the first time I wore them - felt as if they were made for my feet.

Interesting size - I loved this shoe in looks, comfort and fit when I first put it on. Wore it around the house a couple days and decided I was sold. Too late to send it back now, but it does fit a bit small. I'm a 39 in all my European sized shoes and if they existed I would get a 39.5 in this shoe. It is just a tad short in the length. I can still wear with thin socks.

Great for people with flat feet - I have flat feet and can never find a stylish comfortable shoe. This shoe doesn't rub the back of your heel like many others and has great arch support. I give it an A+.

Love It - I just love this shoe. It was unbelievably comfortable right out of the box. Some how, from looking at them, I didn't think they would fit like socks but they sure did. No breaking in required.

GREAT shoes! Super comfortable, even for 4 hours on my feet the first time I wore them. Extremely well made. I'll look for Josef Seibel shoes in the future.
