Had a great experience with Zappos. First two pairs I bought were a size too big. Was able to easily return them with the mobile app and get them in the mail. The correct size arrived within days and the status of the return and credit to my credit card was communicated to me several times during the few days it took to process. Great experience in every way. Already have owned these shoes before and knew they were good.

I must say I have worn the Pamela for yrs. And I was so disappointing when they were discontinued. I ordered the new Pamela 01 and was at first skeptical of them from all the reviews. The right foot was uncomfortable at first but then after wearing for a few days was fine. I put my own inserts in which I purchase at a shoe store where I live. They seem to be fine now but I must admit the leather does not seem as good quality. This is the only shoe I have been able to wear since I broke my foot almost 10 yrs ago and developed heel spurs. I must wear a shoe with a wide toe box in the front and this is the only shoe I have found to work for me. Although I saw you have a shoe similar called the Theresa. I may try that one to see if it feels the same just to get a different look. Anyone out there have reviews on the Theresa? Brenda

I am in complete agreement with the other reviewers. The old Tanya style was perfect and I had two pairs. Sadly, both are worn out and I have tried the newer versions. They are simply inferior. I would gladly pay more for the same quality as before, but they simply aren't available. Unfortunately, I have not found any other shoes that are any better. The same thing happened when Clarks outsourced their manufacturing to China. Their shoes were also wonderful about 15 years ago. Not so any longer.

I have been a great fan of JS shoes over the years particularly for the wonderful fit, quality, and comfort. Previous JS shoes I have owned ran true to size and were extremely comfortable but I am disappointed with my recent purchase of "Pamela." The styling is terrific; they look especially good with jeans but the size 37 runs wide and loose in the heel. I have kept the shoes because I like the styling but they are simply not the quality or comfort of all my previous JS shoes and the brown color offered is nearly black. I agree with the other comments about lack of arch support as well. To add insult to injury these shoes are now on sale!

Wow, I feel very fortunate that 5 years ago I picked up a pair of used Tanya for a good price and I have to say they are the most comfortable sturdy shoes I have ever owned. I tell everyone about this brand and how comfortable they are and very supportive. They do not wear hardly at all and I wear them in the rain walking the dogs daily. I will wear them again for another season but must waterproof them now. I was just about to order a new pair when I saw the same style still being made, but I won't now that I am reading the poor reviews. Inferior quality is everywhere in our world now and we must stand against it. When it comes to shoes, we must have comfort.
