These are cute shoes that manage that difficult merge between what looks nice and what feels comfortable. I have a high instep, so I worried at first that the straps would be too tight, but they had enough give to accommodate my foot.

This is one of those shoes I'd like to buy 10 spares of; they look even better in person and are so comfortable, fit my feet like a glove. I had these on, without socks, on the drive to D.C. and then kept them on as we walked the Mall to see how they would feel / how my feet would hold up. We walked a couple of very comfortable miles, though, near the end I did end up with a sore toe thanks to rubbing, but that is to be expected without socks over time. Love this shoe. I have them in brown and black.

Brands I'd also recommend: Josef Seibel is my all time favorite shoe though I sometimes like Clarks and Merrell, too.

These shoes are cute, but cut wrong for me. I know that these European shoes only come in Medium widths, and my feet are wide. However, some styles in this brand fit me like a glove and are super comfortable. Not this one. It runs too narrow for me. Also the opening at the top of the toes hits me wrong and pinches my foot. Just will not work for me.

Like one of the other reviewers, I also wish I could have ten spares of this shoe. I absolutely love it. It fits like a glove, the leather is supple and the rich, deep brown color I ordered goes with so many things in my wardrobe. This is a very stable shoe that feels like you're wearing a flat but has a bit of a heel, and it looks great on the leg. Fabulous shoe, worth every penny, and I will probably order it in another color. Thank you Zappos for your unparalleled customer service!

These shoes are my second pair of Josel Seibels. They are beautiful and very comfortable! The shoes can be dressy enough for evening and causal for daytime, as well.

Normally wear an 8, returned this for a 7.5, which is a perfect fit. Took about a day of flexing it to keep the instep from rubbing the top of my foot but now these are about the most comfy dress shoes I own. Cute, a little retro (like 60s Pilgrim shoes from the front) but definitely a go-to for business (pants or skirts). Bought it in black, as well!

I ordered a pair in black but they are too big and I had to send them back. The criss-crossed straps look too bulky on my feet. These are very comfortable shoes but the size and style don't work for me. :(

These are great shoes. They have a mod vibe and I love how they look with skirts. I wear about a 9.5 and ordered a 40 - they fit perfect. I'd like to get them in black also; they are such a great shoe for work. They are on the narrow side which works for me but might not work for a wider foot.

Size 38 for a 71/2 fit perfectly. Love the shoes, they are very versatile. My only complaint is the heel separated shortly after wearing them, and now 1 year later the heels are worn down to nubs. Not a long lasting shoe, but comfortable and I get a lot of compliments.

I don't think I will ever wear anything but Josef Seibel dressy shoes when I need to dress up. These are so comfortable is it almost unbelievable. I love the detail and I love the wide straps. The heel height is perfect to feel dressed up but you don't feel weight concentrated on ball of foot. The color is beautiful.

After buying these shoes in tan, and realizing how comfortable these stylish shoes are I purchased a second pair in black. This style works beautifully with slacks or skirts, and is a perfect option for a low-heeled, comfortable dress shoe. Lots of compliments each time I wear either pair.

Amazing shoes. I have had a few Josef Seibel shoes, and they have always been top on quality and comfort, and these are no exception. I need good arch support and can't wear high heals. I can walk long distances in these, and they feel great. I got the green, but I am going to get a pair in Black, so I can wear them more throughout the cooler seasons.

Pretty darn comfortable! I wear medium pointy toe heels to work and they always kill my feet. After work I turn to Danskos or Birkenstocks -- the only thing that doesn't hurt -- but so clunky and ugly! These shoes look nice with jeans, but don't hurt at all!

I wear a 9 wide and ordered this shoe in a 40. It fits very well and is nicely cushioned. It is also high quality leather and a fun style. After several hours of wear, it does rub in a few areas on my toes, so it is not an all-day shoe for me. If your feet are not wide, you may have better luck with that issue.
