I thought this was a fine-looking shoe, but what size would I wear? I usually take a 9 1/2, and have a pair of Josef Seibels in the next size down that are very comfortable but a tad bit short. So I got the "9.5-10" in these. Now I have these gorgeous shoes that feel great and have cotton balls stuffed in the toes to take up the extra room. Still they are really attractive and my feet are happy in them, cotton balls, heel grippers, and all. Super shoe! I will probably order the red in the smaller size just to see what happens.
Brands I'd also recommend: Rieker, Ecco, Romika

Great shoes very comfortable, good fit and stylish. It is a little difficult to translate European sizes to US sizes, the chart helps but finished size is not exactly what we are used to. Love the shoes.

This is the perfect shoe to fit the have to have some style and a heel but need to be able to walk blocks in. This is my replacement shoe for Clarks Passion which was a pretty clunky Mary Jane. I think this is a lot sharper. This is the dress shoe you take to Paris to walk to dinner in a half mile plus! It runs a whole size large. I'm a seven and ordered a 38, returned for a 37 perfect when buckled all the way over. I like a snug fit. Not need for any thing else in shoe to fill space which I'm opposed to doing.Plenty of room in toe box as well.

Several reasons why I will probably never buy another shoe by this manufacturer: 1. Though it's categorized as a comfort shoe, the inside sole is pretty hard. 2. First pair I ordered had what looked like a long scratch going down the entire front part of the shoe. It's actually part of the natural texture of the leather as this style has a crinkled look. But not a consistently crinkled look. More like a disheveled look. I can't believe that Seibel, which boasts having old-world craftsmanship would let this shoe go out as anything but a second-quality item. It looks like it's damaged. So I exchanged it. The straps of the second pair were uneven, causing the sides of the shoe to bow out and the straps to hover above the top of my foot. This is also not a first-quality shoe. 3. On both pairs, both shoes had different shading - enough that it looked like two different colors in the right light. It was really noticeable in the second pair. The best this shoe looked was in the photo. Don't bother with it.

I wear a 9 and these were a bit large. I would exchange them except for one thing. They look well-crafted, nice leather, probably very comfortable with the right size; however, the heel only looks stacked. Why make shoes of this quality if after the first few months they will always look down-at-heel? At this price, they are not throwaways. I will try another style from Seibel that can be kept looking sharp.
