This shoe is really cute and definitely the style I was looking for, but a 39, which is my usual size, was way too small and my toes hit the end. It was also kind of hard to pull on and off, and seemed like it would slip around the ankle. I'm going to order a 40 and see if these issues are resolved. Fingers crossed, because otherwise it's great and the burgundy color is really cute.

Great color; love the look, but fit of arch and heel made the foot feel as if it was sliding toward toe box and this made for an uncomfortable walk.

These felt more like slippers, with no arch support, and like other reviews, my foot slid forward. Also a bit wide around the ankles. Too bad, because the color is perfect.

Love, love, love Josef Seibel (she says as she gazes lovingly at a beat up pair of brown boots bought eons ago but still being worn) because they generally have good support and are cool without being clunky. The Elexa unfortunately were too boxy and the footbed was too flat and not comfortable. So sad but still wearing these circa 2001 ones and loving them so hopeful that another model will work.

I am a big fan of Seibel shoes and have owned 4 pair. However, this pair does not match up in terms of the cushiness that my other Seibels have given my very sensitive neck and back. They don't provide quite that same level of spring that I need. All that extra rubber on the more elevated sole didn't make it any more springy. Also, the sizing was different. The size 39 felt at least a size smaller than my previous pairs. My toes were right up against the top. They are stylish and should be comfortable for many. I'm very disappointed. I have a similar Seibel boot from last year with the wide elastic goring, but a lower heel and more spring. Those are great.

I love these boots but will have to send them back. They just didn't fit right. My foot seemed to slide forward so that my toes were hitting the end. A touch narrow at the ball of my foot. A little difficult to get on...but, oh, so cute.
