Very cute shoe, but runs wide - I love this shoe, but the front strap is very wide and my foot (normally a B width) went right through. Unfortunately, I had to return these.

Pretty shoe, but... I ordered this shoe in a 41 and like in the other reviews, it runs short and wide. My foot went right through the end, too! It is a very attractive shoe, but way too wide. The comfort was nice, too. I tried the size 42 and it was way too wide and too long. I think that if the shoe fit a little snugger in the toe box, it would have been perfect. I sent both pairs back.

Very nice shoe - I was hesitant to order these in my normal size based on the previous reviews. But I went ahead anyway and am very happy with the fit. And they are very comfortable and cute to boot! AND, I ordered them at 12:30 in the afternoon and they arrived before noon the following day! Whoa! Talk about service!

Something is off - I really wanted to like these shoes. I am returning them because I just don't love them. I like the look of the strap and these shoes did work with my bunion. The front strap is wide enough to cover the bunion. I wasn't thrilled with the look of the heel - the fake wood grain. The footbed is very comfortable. The velcro strap over the instep provides a little degree of adjustability. However, even after cinching it a bit, these were very loose. The only other odd think I felt is that because my right foot is wider due to a bunion, the bunion went over the edge of the shoe and that was uncomfortable. I own other Josef Seibel shoes and still recommend them. These just weren't meant for my feet.

I usually wear a size 8 wide and the size 39 was just a little snug and a bit too short. I have other Josef Seibels in sizes 39 and 40. I will return these for the 40 and I'm sure they will fit. Older JS shoes had a perforated insole. I'm hoping these breathe as well. I've never been dissatisfied with JS. Excellent quality (last for years), break in quickly, and cushion my sensitive feet.

The leather is fairly stiff and scratchy inside, so the little strips press and feel uncomfortable. Like most Seibel shoes, they run large--good for some people, bad for others.

Comfortable and good-looking with pants and skirts. Good color: somewhere between brown and tan; I call it taupe, with a bit of a shine that hints of grey.

I purchased these shoes mainly because they are Josef Seibels. I wore them for two days shopping for hours and they were so comfortable, my feet weren't sore nor tired. I love them. They will now go on vacation with me.

These were comfortable from the moment I put them on, no breaking in required. They provide enough support that I can wear them all day even if I'm on my feet or walking a lot.

When I first received these sandals, I thought they were too big, because they were flopping on my feet. Then, I discovered the velcro closure and tightened it. I thought that was perfect. Unfortunately, the velcro doesn't hold very well, so the sandal goes back quickly to being floppy. I'm very disappointed because I generally love Josef Seibel shoes. They usually fit perfectly and are very comfortable to wear.

This is a great sandal if you have a wide foot. Comfortable, easy to walk in, and dressy enough for almost anything.

These shoes are amazing! They are excellent for wide feet and look stylish. If you are between sizes I would recommend getting the bigger size. The leather is soft and flexible, and the sole gives excellent cushioning as well as arch support. I usually have a terrible time finding shoes so I am delighted to have find this style and Brand. I have another pair of Josef Seibel shoes and they are wonderful as well!

I wore these to walk for several miles straight out of the box. No complaints. I also purchase one Euro size larger that I usually wear due to other comments.

This is a beautiful shoe and I gave it 5 stars (even though it didn't work for me) based on looks and quality. I have another pair of Josef Seibel sandals that I've worn almost daily in the summer months for the past 4 years and they've held up very well. They are also the most comfortable pair of sandals I own, so I was really excited to order these. Unfortunately, this pair is just a little too wide. Since these sandals are leather, I feel certain that they're going to stretch out and eventually be much too wide. The adjustable part just couldn't be tightened enough to make these work so I had to return them. I have a narrow foot, so if your foot is medium to wide these may fit perfectly for you.
