Fabulous shoes! I have bad feet for heels--I can never walk far in them, but in these I can. We had to do about 45 minutes of walking because of the bad bus system last night, and my feet (normally very sore especially at the ball) felt no ill effects at all. Plus they’re very attractive and obviously well-made. I’m astonished. Why can’t all heels be like this?

Awesome pair of shoes! I love Josef Seibel's shoes and own two pair so far. This pair was just as comfortable and well-made as the other pair I own. Great style to wear with slacks and skirts. Nice size heel, too. Very comfortable and easy to put on. I know these will be the shoes I wear the most and they will last a long time, as the quality is excellent. Zappos delivery was amazing - ordered them on Saturday & received them Tuesday afternoon - on a holiday weekend, yet, to boot!

This is a stylish shoe that works especially well with pants and jeans -- although could also be worn with skirts. The heel is low enough to be comfortable, but high enough for longer pants.

I love this shoe! Very comfortable, even with the higher heel, and I love the look of it with jeans. Unfortunately, Zappos doesn't carry the wine color Bordo of this style so I got it elsewhere.

What you see is what you get with this shoe -- no surprises out of the box. Good quality leather and not a cheap-looking buckle. I normally wear a 9/40, and this shoe is a generous 40 length-wise (though it does say 40=9-9.5; true enough). At first I thought they might be too big, but adding a thin in-sole and regular foot swelling took care of that. I gave 4 stars in comfort only because the right shoe pinches the top of my foot slightly after wearing for a while, which is probably my foot anatomy. What's terrific about the style is they are a great height for long slacks,but don't feel like a heel at all. My daughter said they look somewhat "professor-like," but I can deal given how versatile they are.

These are one of the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned straight from the box. I first wore them while traveling; racing through the Atlanta airport to catch my connector I never missed a beat. These shoes have just the right cushion and traction and they are so very lightweight that I hardly know I have them on. Choked a bit on the price but I'm glad I got them. Great quality, style but mostly for me is the comfort.

These are very comfortable shoes and look great with a pair of jeans. Even though they have a heel you don't feel like you are wearing heels - I could stand in these all day with out my feet hurting. They are also very comfortable around the toes - not tight at all.

Very comfortable from the second I tried it on. At first glance, wasn't sure about the styling, but when it's on, it's great with tights or skinny jeans, even knee-hi's and skirt! Love them!

I find these shoes very hard to walk in, I got them because I love JS brand and have many other styles, but this is not a good walking shoe.

Excellent pants-shoe. I bought these for work and they have more than paid for themselves! Super-comfortable, stylish, and very supportive. (I have no arch, and some other foot problems, and these shoes are long-wear comfort.)

Comfy shoes! I bought a pair of these (in brown) several weeks ago and am happy with them. I bought the black from Zappos as I wanted to try the site. They're not a style I would typically have tried but were recommended by the sales person when I explain what I was looking for comfy shoes for trousers to wear in an office setting.

Very comfortable. Glad JS finally got a comfy shoe with a heel. Does look a little old-lady-like (for dresses) but I can live with that. I wear a 10.5 and the 42 fit me perfectly. I have had to return many of theirs for being too short but this one fit right, just like they used to.

I wear a size 7 or a 7 1/2 in almost any shoes I try. So when I ordered these in a size 38, I thought they would be perfect. These shoes are huge. I believe I could have worn a hiking sock with these and still had them be loose. I am going to try them in a 37. I have several pairs of this brand and some are 37 and some are 38. You have to try these shoes on to know which size fits. The leather is very soft and they look great with my slacks - I just have to get the size right.

These shoes are very comfortble and required no breaking-in time. However, they do run big. I purchased the equivalent of a 5 1/2 and they feel a half size larger. With inserts they are just fine. I'm going to test drive them in England. Thanks Zappos for great service as usual!

I love these shoes. They are very comfortable and stylish. I bought the same style in another color at retail store. They were so comfortable that I wanted them in black and brown and saved some money through Zappos. Plus I had an unexpected extremely rapid dellivery date! Also, I am short and always looking for a comfortable, stylish shoe that gives me a little height to wear with work outfits. More than one person has commented how expensive the brown pair looks. I love Zappos.
