Stylish shoe - great for work - This is a great looking shoe and very comfortable. I wear them to work with my pant suit, and they look professional. I can also wear them with jeans. There is no break in period at all.

Not as comfortable as it looks! I've been wearing Josef Seibel shoes for years, but I am disappointed in this style. It has little if any arch support and none of that cushion feel you get with Seibel shoes that have the PU insole. My Seibel "Tia" and "Tedra" styles are the best - simply because of this PU insert. I have placed gel pads into the Bridgit shoe which have helped somewhat. This is a great looking shoe but not the comfort you expect from Seibel.

Very stylish looking - You can dress up or down with these shoes, and their appearance is very high quality. The initial break-in period was uncomfortable but lasted only a week or so. Size 36 felt = to size 6.

Just Okay - This was the 1st pair of Joseph Seibel shoes. For the price of the shoe, I would have expected a little more comfort. I should have ordered up 1/2 size. Great looking for jeans and dress slacks, but lacking in comfort.

Great Styling, So Comfortable - I purchased this shoe in brown in a local department store and just loved the look and comfort...and decided to purchase it in black on Zappos. You cannot go wrong with this shoe. It's not clunky, but stylish with pantsuits, cropped slacks and jeans and it was comfortable from Day One.

Comfortable at first until you wear them for a while. I've had a few Josef Seibel shoes before and always loved how flexible and comfortable they are. This shoe is comfortable at first, but after wearing them for a few hours, my feet are killing me!

Great shoe if you have narrow feet - I loved the look of this shoe. I wish I could keep it. My feet are wide so it looked funny when the shoe was on. The toe box is narrow so if you have wide feet they look funny. Also, the zipper on the side of the shoe was sticking for me and made it hard to zip.

Not well constructed - I was very disappointed with these shoes. They are not very comfortable and pinch even after being broken in for several weeks. The zippers do not stay up, making the fit weird. You need a shoehorn to get them on because the back is limp. There are far better alternatives available in similar styles.

Good looking shoe for narrow foot - I loved the look of this shoe. I need a comfort shoe due some foot issues and find most are not very attractive. This style looks better than most, but the toe box is very narrow. It didn't work for me (I usually take a "regular" or medium shoe). These would be nice for someone with a narrow foot.

AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I ordered these Thursday evening and thought they would probably arrive Monday since I chose the standard/free shipping. THEY ARRIVED THE NEXT MORNING! Yes, I said MORNING! 10:30! Thank you Zappos. You really are "Powered by Service". As for this shoe ...soo comfy and easy for me to put on. I am paralyzed, a quadriplegic. It's hard to find a shoe that fits over my foot brace, is easy for my care providers to put on me and still look great. We (paralyzed folks) can still wear a great looking shoe, right? Right!

Okay but no arch support - Great simple and versatile style shoe. Quite comfortable except there is little arch support (and my arches are not exceptionally high or low).

Great at first... These shoes look absolutely great. They fit well at first also. But after about 8 hours in them, my feet hurt like crazy! They are cute, but not comfortable at all.

Classic and Simple - This is a classic business casual shoe. I bought 2 pairs (black and brown). Looks good with dress pants. No break-in time needed, I wore them for 8-9 hours in the office and they were soft and comfortable. Like some of the reviewers had noted, the shoes are more suitable for people with narrow or regular sizes (not for those with wide feet).

I have a 55 year old foot that is a little narrow, and vertically a bit too thin to fill most standard shoes. I wear 7.5 to 8 US, occasionally 8.5 in athletic shoes. When I first tried on the size 38 with medium socks, I thought it was OK, very slightly tight just beyond the ball of the foot, and a little big at the opening tongue, but OK. By the 3rd time I wore them, I never wanted to take them off. Very comfortable, and not frumpy. I can't wear heels. This cute heel does not throw weight on the ball of the foot. The sole has medium thickness. I would prefer very thick. Otherwise, the shoe is perfect. I marked true to size, but I don't really know European sizes.

I liked these shoes at first, even though there's no arch support. They're narrow and it's hard to find narrow shoes, so I was happy with them. Glad I waited several months before submitting this review. The soles of both shoes have split. Right at the ball of the foot, the entire length of the shoe sole is split. When I spend $100+ on shoes, I expect them to last several years, not months, especially dress shoes that I don't wear every day. I'm very disappointed in the quality. Brands that used to be very high quality, hand made are now mass produced in Chinese sweat shops yet they still want us to pay $100+ on a discount online store! I'm really upset at this pair of Josef Siebels.
