This shoe looks good on the outside. However, it has this hard middle rubber strip on the underside of the shoe that makes it uncomfortable on the ball of my foot. Returned.

Very cute and I can feel that they are comfortable, but my arch is just too high and the strap is too tight for me to slide my foot into. I would guess that they would have been a smidge too small as well, maybe half a size. I am dinging the overall score a little for the strap, but otherwise, if you have a normal arch, I would think they would work for you.\r\n

I love these shoes/sandals. They are incredibly comfortable and go well with jeans or a skirt. The fit was perfect. I have problem feet, so it is hard to find shoes that are comfortable. The first day, I wore them for 8 hours and did a lot of walking and they were very comfortable.

This is a really cute pair of shoes and I've received lots of compliments. I am not a big fan of heels, but this is a nice height, high enough to give me a nice line but not so high that I feel unsteady. The patent is not that shiny, sort of a matte patent, if that makes sense. My only issue is that when walking along, sometimes the top of my foot gets "rubbed" right below the toes. I have a narrow and slender foot, so I'm not sure if this is flaw with the shoe or with my foot! This is the 2nd pair of Josef Seibels I own and I am a big fan.

I absolutely love these shoes, but the sole on both of mine split across width. I've only had these shoes for a few months and take good care of them too. I still really like the shoe though.

These are the greatest sandals. My first pair I bought 5 years ago and am still wearing them. I really didn't intend to still be wearing them, but I went through all the other sandals and I'm back to these. Because they fit well and the fact they have the velcro closing can adjust to widths. They have nice cushion and I can wear them for most occasions.

Great fit - gently hugs the instep for sure-footed walking and is roomy in the toe box. Comfy with tights or wool socks. I always like the elevation of the heel in the Siebel shoes and these are a very flattering, stylish, casual.

These are the best shoes I've bought in a long time. I usually only buy Josef Seibel because of the fit and these are perfect. I am a true 8.5,or 39. They look great with pants or a skirt and are very comfortable. This is important because like a lot of customers at Zappos, I have problem feet and toes. The square box works best for me.

I love these boots. They look great with pants or a long skirt, but because I have a problem with left big toe I have to return them. I need a different style toe box. They are very comfy and have a great no skid bottom. I appreciate the product quality and the customer service at Zappos!

I normally love the comfort of this brand, even though they can look a little grandmotherly, but this one was not attractive at all. The brown is a light brown, not dark as it appears in the picture. I didn\'t even take these out of the box. Love Zappos - just not a fan of this shoe.

This "Geneva" is my first pair of Josef Seibel shoes. I ordered them in my regular size, 10, and they were way too small. I now have size 11 and they fit perfectly. They are comfortable and I hardly notice I am wearing them. The advice given online is to buy a 1/2 size larger, but a whole size larger is more appropriate. I usually wear Doc Martens so these feel VERY light weight. If they had size 11 in stock in other colors I would order them...... but no such luck.\r\nI wonder why they have so few of many of their shoes in stock? I checked other styles and the size 10 and 11 are frequently out of stock.

Though it may take you a couple wearings to get accustomed to the unique footbed, this will become an exceedingly comfortable shoe. I think the styling of the leather is also very attractive. I had worn a pair of Seibels about ten years ago, and had worn Danskos pretty much ever since. I wanted something a little different, and I would highly recommend this shoe.

I love these shoes. They were comfortable straight out of the box and I can wear them all day as a walking shoe. The heel is high enough that it keeps my pants off the ground and the platform sole keeps me stable and out of the rain and muck. I wear them with either thin or thick socks and the fit stays the same in either. They are a nice dark red color, which gives me a bit of red without overpowering the rest of my wardrobe. I have received many compliments on these shoes, although, I think they do still look a bit like comfort shoes.

I love that these are black and brown and comfortable but spiffy. I'm taking them on a trip to D.C. and I need them to be versatile. My husband thinks they are generic Mary Janes and uninteresting (read: not high heels) and both grown-up daughters called them "Catholic schoolgirl shoes!" So I'll have to be careful about what I wear with them.

This shoe is a huge disappointment and here's why: For the very high price this shoe should have half sizes. I loved the style and look of this shoe and tried on the 37 and 38 at Dillards. I usually wear a 7 and 1/2, but this shoe combines the half sizes with the whole size leaving only one size. My toes touched the front of the size 37 shoe and my heels slipped out on the 38s. So as much as I want these shoes and they are perfect for what I need, I cannot buy a pair of shoes at this price that do not fit.

There is something about this shoe that I absolutely love. It is a basic, extremely well made, great fitting casual shoe. It has a roomy toe box and excellent arch support. Great shoe that I enthusiastically recommend. It isn\'t a dainty little thing afraid to face the world. And of course the bonus is Zappos with no tax and free shipping!
