I have worn several pairs of J&M shoes in the past. These were probably the most expensive J&M shoes I have purchased. I have had A couple pair of Allen Edmonds and have been very satisfied, but decided to give J&M a shot. The shoes came delivered to my door with the typical excellent service of Zappos. Unfortunately when I opened the J&M box, I saw a shoe with scuffs, gouges and imperfections. The shoes were definitely not worn before, but look like they had no quality check in manufacturing. Very disappointed in the quality and appearance.
Brands I'd also recommend: Allen Edmonds

My husband is a fan of J&M shoes but these were just too stiff and narrow for him. We liked the style but want more comfort!
