I really like these shoes, they are comfortable and look great but there are some drawbacks. First the left shoe squeaks when I walk, second they run big which may become more of a problem as the leather wears in making them more loose. Finally the leather is very soft which is nice in some ways but if you unfortunately scuff your feet against anything they will get a noticeable scratch.

Beautiful shoe. I could tell it was soft and comfortable right out of the box, with one exception. The rear heel cup portion of the shoe is too low and doesn\'t grip the heel well enough. The end result is, every step I took, as I lifted my foot, the rear of the shoe slipped off my heel by about 1\/4 inch. At first I thought the shoe was just too big, so I tried the next smaller size, which was too small. I\'m sorely disappointed that this one small problem was a deal-breaker, as these shoes were otherwise perfect in every way.

Agree with previous reviews - the heel cup is too low and this was a deal breaker for me which is unfortunate because this is a very good looking shoe with comfortable padding which may be contributing to heel slip problem - not enough heel cup height for the amount of padding. They do run large. I wear 8.5 and ordered an 8.0 which fit fine and even felt slightly loose; after some use/leather stretching they would probably be too loose. Three stars overall is only due to heel cup problem.

Comfortable but felt a little bigger for the size, might have just been the difference in width, but as usual Zappos rocks!

Nice well made shoe. Very comfortable with soft leather upper that breaks in nicely and adds to the look. The heel cup seems shallow at first but gets better as they break in. I needed to wear a couple of days standing/walking with thin dress socks. Now they feel like a part of my foot.
