These are a nice change up from a dress shoe or a overly casual shoe. The look like an adult walking shoe. Comfortable and durable. Could be a little lighter in weight but it\'s not a drawback.

Nice shoe, I finally sprung for a high quality shoe vs. the sub-$100 variety. Looks very good, very comfortable, sized accurately. Good shoe for casual work environments and can use out on the town too.

J&M shoes are worth every penny. My 4-5th pair in last five years. These are very comfy and supportive shoes. Good for everyday biz casual and for nightly casual dress. Good arch and soft leather. Only a day or two break-in time. Fit true to sizing.

Johnston Murphy shoes are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn! If you have difficulty finding a comfortable pair of shoes ....my advice is give Johnston Murphy a try! This is my third pair of JM shoes that I have owned. (I paid nearly $300 for my first pair at the mall and they were worth every penny. I wore the first pair for years and had them re-soled three times!) The Shuler bicycle shoe has a great look, beautiful stitching, high quality leather and is extremely comfortable. This shoes is a 10 in my book. Give any Johnston Murphy shoe a try and I promise you will be hooked!

I have huge feet! So buying nice shoes that fit can be challenging. These shoes rock, super soft leather and excellent detailed stitching. Very comfortable, however I find that the shoe runs a little small. I wear a 15w in NB, but had to swap for a 16w which was not a problem; I was amazed at how fast the shipping was. Overall, great shoe. Will buy another pair in a different color. Excellent service, cant go wrong shopping at Zappos!

Second purchase of shoe; bought in all colors: dark brown/tan/black. Very comfortable, lamb skin lining very nice. Great walking shoe and stylish as well. Had problem with a couple squeaking in the sole (after warranty expired of course), but I still went back and bought 3 more pairs. I have a wide foot; these provide great comfort and contemporary style, for a relatively inexpensive price! I walk continuously for at least 6 hours a day. Enjoy.

I bought the Shuler Bike for my 24-year-old son, who is starting his first post-college job in a major metro area, where he will be doing a lot of walking. He says the shoes are very comfortable, and likes that they also look stylish, so they are fine for an office work environment. They do seem to run a little big. We first ordered his usual size, but had to return them for a half size smaller to get a correct fit. Zappos' service was, as usual, outstanding on both orders.

The leather is very soft and supple, but the insoles have a slight ridge that runs from the left side of the shoe to right side, about where my arches are. It wasn't painful, but it was annoyingly noticeable and might prove to be uncomfortable if I were on my feet for prolonged periods. I tried on two separate pairs to make sure it wasn't a defect, and both pairs had it, so it's apparently a feature of the shoe. I have somewhat flat feet, but I've only felt a similar insole ridge with one other pair of shoes (Bostonian Cushings). I also own the Johnston & Murphy Dobson Caps (wonderful shoes, by the way), and they do not have this issue, so this is just a feature (problem?) with this model. For me, it was a deal breaker. Perhaps arch inserts would have corrected or alleviated the problem for me (never needed them before though), but for this much coin, I shouldn't have to be correcting problems inherent in the shoe. Were it not for this issue, I would have been very happy with these otherwise comfortable shoes. You might only need be concerned if you have somewhat or very flat feet, too.

I never knew of Zappos until my daughter told me of its assets. Over the past 3-4 years she and I have ordered dress and casual shoes as well as sliders, beach shoes, and purses. I have three colors of the JM Shuler Bike shoe. It is one of the most comfortable shoes I have owned. I am on my feet from 7am until 8-9pm daily and my feet never feel tired due to the comfort of the shoes. I wear an orthotic inside the shoe with no feeling of tightness. I also receive compliments from men and women about the style and appearance of the shoe. Thank you.

Very comfortable shoe out of the box. Also, high quality construction throughout, I love the lining. I’m not real crazy about the looks, the toe is a little unusual to me. I see other’s comments about these being perfect with khakis or jeans. I agree they are great with khakis; too dressy for jeans in my opinion.

I bought these on the recommendation of a friend and am very pleased! These were very comfortable right out of the box and have even gotten a little better with a few days wear. I'm now going to get them in the other two colors. Great looks and great comfort are pretty hard to beat.
As always...Zappos service is absolutely top notch. I ordered these shoes at about 9:00 p.m. at night and had them in my hand at 11:30 the next morning...with no shipping charges! I just can't imagine better service than I get from Zappos.

I received these shoes, put them on and kept wearing ever since. It's amazing. No breaking in, no getting used to them - feel like slippers. Seriously, it's a magic. I have a wide foot and usually have to choose between 9W and 9.5W. But these shoes turned to be true their size. And shipping was lightening fast.

Finally, I have found a shoe that doesn't cause pressure on the top of my instep. I haven't been able to wear numerous Clarks, Rockports, and ECCOs due to this problem. Additionally, this shoe looks great, and is extremely comfortable. I wear Superfeet insoles in all my shoes, but have yet to need them in these. I am a very satisfied customer...Thanks J&M and Zappos!

This shoe is truly awesome! The first day I got it I also wore it and it felt like I have been wearing the shoe for a long time. It looks great and the quality of the shoes is like no other. I wear size 15 and I have a wide foot, it is the best shoe I have ever owned.
